I've got my GTX 580 on everything except Very High except shadows on medium. The again I don't mind getting 35fps cos I came for the GRAFIX!
Also, the crackfix fixes all my issues, use that then try final boss.

So the final boss is that buggy ?
Oh how I remember the first time I played through Crysis 1 and forgot to grab the TAC weapon before going to main deck to face the final boss...

Was a good game. Loved graphics and music (which is new for crysis game).
Will surely replay proper not internal version

Well, it's running at around 20-30 FPS on Very High, which is hardly ideal... I have an i7 920 though, that might be bottlenecking me somehow

Just tried the fix and it works wonders, (at least the 2nd mission doesn't crash anymore). Also tried to play with everything on Very High/1080p/SMAA 4X..my PC almost exploded. 
But it's hands down the best looking game of this generation, truly impressive at times. Cevat didn't lie for once.

i7 2600k, 8 gig ram and 680gtx, on high I get 50-60, all very high 40-50 but very inconsistent

I have a similar setup but with 16GB RAM and a 670. I experience the same thing with the inconsistency. It's very odd playing like that.

Scumbag Crytek, creates much larger world than Crysis 2, the game barely lasts 5 hours. I was impressed during the 2nd level when I had an objective 500m away. That was pretty great. Untapped potential, a lot of untapped potential. If this would have been the length of Crysis 2, it would have been great.

I just have to chime in here to say that I feel all warm and fuzzy inside that the GTX 580 finally gets a mention! One of thee most under-rated cards of the last few years. Pardon me in advance.

How tweak friendly are the cfg files? The first two games (particularly part 1) were very customizable.
