That's impossible unfortunately.

Origin has the saves tied to the user profile so my saves wouldn't work for you, Reloaded probably used their own profile for the copy protection (Or they removed it completely.) so if you use that release anyone also using it can share save-games.

Though using a crack means the game will be in offline mode I believe, essentially from what little I know it's somewhat like the save issue we have with Windows LIVE and it's profile and save file system.
(I could be wrong but I'm fairly sure most of this is quite accurate.)

No you are not. Same problem here. It doesn't look like gamplay bug to me more like fucked up game mechanics. Overall physics (if there is any) of game is poor.

i wonder if the door bug is fixed. i would hope so since poeple have started asking for refunds and amazon was giving them to anyone who linked them to the door soundloop bug Smile

EDIT: nope sound door bug still there according to the bug thread and the actual buyers are even more pissed. Uninstall incoming Very Happy

Afraid not. There is no jesting, but only horrifying truth here. I installed the update (or rather had it downloaded automatically), fired up the game and went to one of the doors without sound. Then I turned it all the way up, hoping for salvation - but was instead rewarded with BRRRRRRRRRRR stutter stutter BRRRRRRRRRRRR as always. No patch notes yet, no fix for this obvious bug that somehow escaped playtesting... Only disappointment.

Despite my ranting about DS3 this game looks so good. Sometimes I just stand on that SK1P platform watching space.

Can someone share a savegame after the second encounter with the giant spider on level 11 (I think)?

The checkpoint save system in this game is stupid, now I'm stuck in that part because everytime I load the game I am on the last elevator before the giant spider and WITH NO AMMO! There's only a limited amount of ammo on there, no weapon depots, nothing, and is not enough ammo for me to kill it. And yeah, I know I have to shoot the weak orange glow parts.

I've tried so many times that I'm tired of it...

The worst part is that if I restart the level (only option I can think of) I start with no ammo too. This is simply ridiculous. Evil or Very Mad

PS: Sorry for my poor english pals,

Is it where you fall down with it while you help the 2 other guys up? If so, you don't need much ammo at all to kill it, look around Smile

Nope, I think you mention the first time you encounter the spider. I'm referring to the second time, when you exit a zone after obtaining three parts of some type of machine or something.

No I meant the last time (3rd, if I'm right). I forgot you meet that fucker so many times without a good reason whatsoever.
I guess a trainer would be easiest. This boss is so random and generic so no need to feel bad about cheating too Wink

Just finished. I was overall pleased with the experiance. Wasn't as fun as the first two, but it was a nice 'closer'. (Even though it is hinted that they are making more.)

I played on hard and had no problem. Hard in DS3 was nowhere near as bad as hard in the first two.

The custom weapon thing was cool. Still not as awesome as Dead Space was though, and how all the weapons were things that you found as you progressed in the game.

The best weapon setup I found was telemetry spike chaingun / ice thrower lower, and good ol' one hand plasma cutter + telemetry spike. I had pretty much max damage on the 'classic' one handed plasma cutter and it would tear shit up. Shot slow though. Near the end of the game the chain gun was used the most. I had electricity on it so it would stun monsters as well, that and I could freeze them with the icer before they got to me.

Fun game. I hope they don't ruin it by making another. Just leave it alone and let us pretend Isaac is dead. (Even though he isn't. Neutral )

I'm fairly certain this is how dead space 4 opens -

Some dudes come back to the ice world planet with the butt rape moon crashed into it and they find Isaac.

Flashback.

While Isaac was floating through space back down to the ground on the ice planet Carver catches up with him right before he dies and gives him his helmet/suit.

Then he does an Indiana Jones: Temple of Doom style thing where he inflates an aircraft life raft and then gently floats back down the ice planet and then sleds down a 50k foot moutain into tropical paradise where he lives for the next 5-6 years.

You heard it here first. Laughing

The writing for these games is so predictable.

Doesn't the Awakening DLC take place after the main Dead Space 3 campaign, I don't think you need to wait for the (eventual) sequel to see what happens.
(Doesn't the Awakening DLC come out fairly soon too?)

Whatever.

Just look back to my last post on here when it releases. I'm willing to bet i'm 80% spot on with how the story will unfold. The series is just too predictable now.

Well I don't disagree as such, I just believe EA might try to take up the story in a number of DLC rather than waiting until the sequel is released, faster and more profitable that way plus the game is still selling and proving popular (At least I think that's how it's worked out.) so there's little doubt that there will be a Dead Space 4 game eventually. Smile
(That and there will also probably be some MP related content.)

Dead Space 4 cancelled because Dead Space 3 underperformed.

Another one bites the dust.
