Each AC game improved each time another game was released, the game's difficulty, or rather the target audience the game is aimed at has nothing to do with innovation.
Yes, each AC game was very innovative.
First one was the only one really good. Second was OK, and then .
Brotherhood was pretty bad, easily the worst of the 5 games. it brought nothing apart from the guild stuff, but Revelations and AC3 were very good IMO.
That goes without saying, Haytham was a much better character than Connor. Too bad they didn't decide to stick with him.
As I said before though, Haytham originally was trained to be an Assassin (probably by his father), but early on he switched sides. Perhaps his father will switch sides as well (probably near the end of the game though) so we will play a little bit as a templar.
Connor was so full of himself and stubborn in his ways, not befitting of a character who is still supposed to observe and learn the way of things. This is even made more ridiculous by the fact that during the main story you are mostly the pawn in other peoples games and sent around like a little messenger.
Only the Homestead missions and its story arc made room for adequate character building, it was one of my favorite parts of the game.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

Because he was fighting for his people. He wasn't used to the way the white people were doing business, he didn't like to shake hands and he was offended when a guy told him to bribe the printer shop to get rid of his notoriety and repeatedly told him it's stupid to cover up one lie with another. It's just the way he was, a stubborn native American, who always seems to know better.
@IamAWESOME, Wasn't it obvious it was coming this year?
So is this the start of a new trilogy? Is it teh continuation of the previous trilogy? Is it a side step? How exactly does it fit in with the overal story?
Couldn't these dipshits have waited just one more year to take advantage of the new consoles/tech
