Hmm, twice already during just the tutorial segment I've had it go from running a steady and constant 60-70fps, down into low single digits (like 2-3 fps). If I alt tab out and back in, it's fine again. What gives?

Edit - Seems that whenever onscreen title text is triggered (ex. it's showing you what the section of the level is called) it causes my FPS to plummet to single digits.

I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

Good. Maybe Crytek will learn a fucking lesson and not mess around with DX10 cards owners! Laughing

Yeah I am running on the "Ultimate" (lol) setting. And yeah tesselation is slowin it down a lil, but I like the look, now they just need some driver fixes lol. It's playable with tesslation, but not so fuid... No biggie. Played some more and it's an issue running with the hapenin hair, so it's a no go for now

So just had a chance to play, very nice, very very nice actually. As someone who is a big Uncharted fan, this is right up my alley. Graphics are strong, controls very responsive, game-play so far has been ace, very happy with this one. Some of the QTE gave me the lulz though especially
 Spoiler:

Not playing with TresFX for now, because I don't feel like dropping 20FPS for hair that looks silly. All maxed with FXAA, 60+ FPS so far. Tried SSAA, but the hit was a little too much for my liking and the FXAA isn't at all that bad, maybe it's my shitty eyes or I'm just getting used to it from all the games now.

Anyways, back to playing, eager to try out MP to see how bad/good it is.

@yond, not sure if it will even be possible, I thought dx11 games dont play well with sweetfx, but if it does work would be nice to get some sharpening to offset the FXAA, either that or wait for nvidia AA flags to come around.

Having a blast with the game. Received just exactly what I had initially expected. Definitely a large breath of fresh air for the TR universe.

P.S. No crashes with switched-on tessellation here on an NV card with almost 3+ hours of playtime...

If you're going to chastise someone for not using spoilers, please spoiler them when you quote them.

To answer your question bloodian, I had the same problem with the PS3 version. The only way I could get past it was to start pressing the relevant button in advance of the prompt. Trying to time it never worked. There was only one other point in the game (right at the end) where I ran in to a similar issue.

mouse seems 1:1 or close enough, no noticeable neg/pos accel or smoothing. thats with vsync & tripple buffer @ 60fps.

good call, will do.

As for the controls, I think they're very good. Doesn't feel like a port with shit controls, very responsive, feel natural.
