So performance translated... It runs at low fps sometimes even on GTX Titan + 3770K @ 1080p. Sounds promising Cool Face. This is where we see that the 6GB Vram is absolutely useless in the card, since it cant even handle 1080p on newest games, not to mention 1 grand price tag.

I assume the Alpha starts today right? That "Alpha Lite" starting March 14 they mention in the steam store page is referring only to the invited people?

Yup! If you buy it you get to play today. If you wait to receive a "guess key", you can only play on march 14th, with no multiplayer and limited editor (no save)

The main menu and some sub-menus.

EDIT: In-game.

(Did a quick demo mission - there's four - and then I plopped a infantry guy down in the editor and explored the island a little.)

EDIT:

I should be sharing here at least one of the invites. Two of them could be already compromised but seeing as they're not entitled to multiplayer access, they might end being 2 or even all of the 3 Smile

I tried maxing view distance but it drops quality automatically past a certain threshold so I'm currently testing various other options.

Game runs at around 30 - 40 FPS but I do use a 150% increase in screen resolution for a basic form of SSAA but it works OK enough to just explore the island.
(I'm not much of a modder so I'll wait for the community to create custom content.)

(Otherwise I use the options seen in the above menu images albeit with a view distance of 5022 and a shadow view distance of 200 which I assume is in percentage, could be meters as well though.)
