Grab this one: Tomb.Raider.Survival.Edition-3DM. It contains the unlocked Steam files. No need for installation. You then grab SR's crack and paste it into the folder.
Just for the record. Running on Ultra here 1080p.
it is about ~60 gameplay time all the time. (not far yet)
The place right outside the starting cave is 60 fps.
with tressfpx. 10-20fps less and the hair looks really bad with it on. Why is it casting so thick shadow ?
Benchmark. same settings (ultra 1080) vsync off for the purpose ot benchmark.
Keep in mind that my 7870 is oc'd to 1175. Normally the game is 5fps less on both max and averange
Btw. The game seems to be over my expectations so far. It looks great. Plays really fluid (animations!). Lara looks sexy and TESSELATION BOOBS. what more ?!

Any method of adding the DLC to the first 3DM crack?
Should be doable via the .ini of the crack right?
Anyone?

I donno, but it seems that the DirectCompute maybe can't calulate via crossfire? and that only 1 card calculates it? (i honestly am just fishing for answers here...)
Well it looks like it, been doing some excessive testing, and i do notice when the massive slowdowns come, 1 card is doing 99% usage and the other drops to under 50%, while usually they are around 99% and 93% usage..
So GG AMD, you made a feature that is useless in combination with another feature you got -.-'

The stupid arcade keyboard destroying parts are really the dumbest thing, if I wanted a console I would have bought it.
FTW!
But serious, it is a console game, it is meant to be played with a gamepad. Buy a xbox controler, you will not regret it. Save you're mouse and keyboard for real games.
The first impact with the game was shocking.. pure cinematic galore, quick time events, no freedom, then fortunately Lara saw the light (literally).
It's definitely more entertaining now, since the levels actually do open up and the atmosphere is pretty good, as well as the exploration. Nothing that makes me go in awe, but I'd say it's a well-packed action-adventure game...just not very TombRaider-esque, but we already knew that.
The graphics are more than decent, so is the performance, as long as I keep the useless TressFX disabled (which destroys the 570). M&KB controls are fine, too.
edit:
I've had some problems with the SweetFX settings, so I'm using the old custom FXAA injector to remove the consolish vaseline, so far the result isn't too bad:

kb/M works way better !! any game that you control a camera/aim will ALWAYS work better with a mouse there is no other option, sure I have a 360 pad but for racing game or 2d platformers everything else is kb/M for fucking ever, STFU with them derppads FFS.
Soo this is like the story how Lara Croft became the British Badass we all know and love?
Because here it seems she looks weak and frail. Well what little i have seen from videos. Dont want to spoil myself before actually playing it.
dakiller, skidrow uses inno setup to create their installations. These files can be unpacked using inno unpack. Here, I'll put it together for you -
1. download the inunp files: http://www44.zippyshare.com/v/76088618/file.html
2. extract .zip, should now have 'tomb raider' folder
3. extract skidrow .iso into that folder
4. run 'unpack.bat'
5. contents of '{app}' folder should be the same as installed game.

It's about how she got rich and got boob implants.
TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."
"Like Nothing On Earth"
Finished it with 85% completion, may come back to find averything. Had 2 CTD's, mno idea why, not terrible.
Gameplay wise it was fun. I was irritated at first when QTE followed QTE, but fortunately they were seldom (well, aside from finisher moves, but that's optional and therefore acceptable ) in the rest of the campaign.

Something like that yes. It's her first adventure. She kills literally hundreds of people, but isn't the psychopath we know and love from the previous games.
Been a while since i've seen a game that had a big difference between low/high settings, this one takes the cake
Spoiler:
About an hour or 2 in now, having a good time but still very heavy on the cutscenes, had hope this would tone down a bit further in. just let me play lol.
Also turned off that tressfx thing, made her hair way too "wobbly" and didnt really make it look a while lot better imo, certainly not worth the 10+ fps hit

It's like the typical parabola of a pornstar..from defenceless young and inexperienced Lara
Have some weird issues with the game...
It refuses to save some of my settings, so I have to reapply them every time I start the game. It keeps resetting me to the "Ultimate" preset for one. And then my secondary control mappings always disappear...
Also whenever I change a setting in the graphics options (like simply lowering brightness by a notch, for example) it immediately slashes 15-20 fps off my framerate (next time it might even drop to 30). The only way to get it back up to 60 is to restart the game :\

Spoiler:
Could you, by any chance, link the files you're using?
Every injector I've used so far makes my game crash on startup.

It's the FXAA injector that I configured specifically for Human Revolution (dx11), so far I haven't had any issues with it. (unlike the SweetFX, which throws errors and crashes)
The camera is too slow with 360 gamepad somehow and there is no option to adjust it I think.
And WTF amd!!! I am getting terrible microstutter

We are aware of major performance and stability issues with GeForce GPUs running Tomb Raider with maximum settings. Unfortunately, NVIDIA didn’t receive final code until this past weekend which substantially decreased stability, image quality and performance over a build we were previously provided. We are working closely with Crystal Dynamics to address and resolve all game issues as quickly as possible.
In the meantime, we would like to apologize to GeForce users that are not able to have a great experience playing Tomb Raider, as they have come to expect with all of their favorite PC games.
(Didn't AMD do a similar announcement for a Nvidia tested game?)
