jesus christ was a gangsta rapper. they killed him. he came back and made a platinum album.

I also find Ogrish distastful. However as the censorship laws do not cover this kind of material I would say that this type of action is illegal.
I hope someone takes them to court.

Ogrish.com "censors" content also by choosing what videos to show and what not to show.
For instance the infamous video of the American soldier murdering the injured Iraqi resistance fighter in the mosque is the "toned" down version that does not show the horrific violence. I find it interesting that they post the "lite" version.
As a father with kids I certainly don't mind this sort of crap being censored. I would not want my kids stumbling across this by accident.
There is no need for people to see material like this. This is not something people should become used to seeing.

For what??? For showing what happens in reality, how a dead person looks like, how an accident occurs? I rather ban all the fake hollywood movies. Realise kids will belive evrything they seen in the movies, which is VERY UNREALISTIC.
I've seen dead/accidents/gun wounds people in reality, and sure the first time it was a horrible experience but as with evrything else you somewhat get used to it... no not really but it's more "bearable"
Site like ogrish is a good thing if you ask me, hollywood movies is far more dangerous since they stray FAR away from reality, doesn't mean evry action/war movie out there, but most of the blockbusters...
Truth sucks, hey it's reality....

Couldnt care less if that piece of shit site got lost in oblivion togheter with rotten.com and other sites like it!
However i dont like censorship and as a lawstudent i will have to say that if you start fucking with freedom of speech, then whats next, religion? opinions?

lol... seeing more and more pics of split skulls or ripped off arms makes it more bearable for.... what?... to see more pics of it? or what is it good for? and this is not reality either... reality isnt a closeup snapshot of a slit throat or whatever...
and if you dont want your kids to become a bit more realistic then dont show em comics or teletubbies or all that shit... and anyway... would you like your kids to see a naked girl spreading her legs? or a dick sticking in a girls mouth? cause thats reality too you know...

anyway it seems 1 in 3 vidoes you click on are fighting videos now. Some are ok and funny but when its like 2 on 1 and face boots I dont really like watching it. You all musta seen the video of the guy walking out of court and getting shot by the dad who's son he raped. There's a little bit of satisfaction with that even though it is brutal. Some of the videos are disgusting but just because they're all in one single place it makes it easier than scanning the net. I dont think it will get censoered at all because it already has 18+ warnings and all that.

Yes, I mean't the Government. It's a disgrace that they've blocked the site. Fair enough if they were enacting on existing laws, like for child porn. But when they select sites to block at will, well they're nothing better than the Chinese or some middle eastern country.

ogrish it's not about supplying people with "unedited news footage". if that was this sites' intention they would have articles, references, etc on what happened.
it's simply about showing disgusting and horrible crime/accident victims. all you can see there is some punchline like "Burned to Death After Truck Crash" + pics.
NOBODY visits ogrish to see unedited news. it is ONLY interesting for sick fucks who enjoy seeing the extreme. just like those who watch child porn.

dude, I dont know how u can argue gruesome footage against child porn...
really...maybe Im not explaining my position well enough, but seriously....i dont understand how u cant see the difference between someone being murdered, burned alive, beatin, shot, stabbed etc as compared to a child being forced into a sexual act - and which is usually sodomy or something really fucked up...man, the ppl in the those death vids died regardless whether u watch em or not. However, if there werent a sicko market for child porn, none would be available and the kids who would have been forced into making the movies wouldnt be.
Personally, I didnt watch any video on the site as I find watching someone died or something like that disgusting and disrespectful...however u can not say that because death vids are ok, child porn is too...now mind u, if someone was murderering ppl for the sake of the videos and that was the arguement, then I'd agree
