its the last of us demo. i m still extracting but there is a folder which after some digging is definitely Last of Us related

oops..
the last of us folder has 35mb. the data could be with the other stuff though. why would duplex delete that stuff and then mention a surprise
edit: yeah, the big files are in another folder. Cant test it today, but im sure its last of us.

the extra 10gb in the us release is nothing but demos of Flower, Journey, LB Karting, Sound Shapes, Sly4, Starhawk, Unfinished Swan and PSASBR. and the digi manual for the game.
edit: the game slims down to 33gb with that folder deleted and everything but english taken out.

I just tried with the ORIG Eboot, it kicks me back with error message 80010009
Guess I have to wait for some other fix. It's really strange that some of the games I was not able to play without a disc like Devil May Cry and Tomb Raider now all work without a disc inside. All work now. Even Eslaved Odyssey works for me when it didn't before.
If anyone figures out a way to play discless post it please.
lmao what a fucking tease, God of War Ascension in my PS3 and I can't even play it.

It's not weird it's because you updated multiman to a newer version that help these days. Obviously it doesn't help gow a.
Gow 3 needed a disc too, I think you are screwed unless you use the rebug 4.21 trick like mister_s.
The duplex cracktro is for sure not preventing you from playing it without a disc.

the 8 gigs file is useless, it's just BTS movies. Edit the ARCHIVES file and remove it from there too so it isnt loaded on boot.
