Be warned, when the first patch comes out for it you can expect your savegames to be incompatible.

A Radeon 9600 is slightly faster than a Geforce 4 Ti, and is DirectX 9 compatible. I would think it should be fine.

Gameplay with a radeon 9600 will be choppy, but good enough to enjoy, as with other console ports.

Fools, did you even read the minimum system requirements?

64MB Shader Capable 3D Card

Means of course 9600's are supported!

I prefer 800x600 and some effects Smile if it is possible

If not will wait review scores etc. cuz if the game has

good action, storyline and it's worth to play then will download Smile

Good answer Devil, very mature and on topic.

Graphics doesn't look that good, but I guess the gameplay is awsome. Btw, I wanted to ask if you pick a class and a race at the begining or it's fixed? Like gothic....

The way I understand it's kind of like dungeon siege, what you do is what you become.

It's like gothic, except your character develops based on how you play. The coolest aspect of course is that his appearance changes too, such as getting bigger muscles or a magical glow etc. Also other characters reactions chnage based on this too.

The graphics are pretty good, although obviously they're in a cartoony sort of style.

There are also some nice little touches, such as armor having more value other then just protecting you or adding bonuses. It also affects your appearance, so people might be more of less attracted to you based on your armor.

Those who played it on both systems, are there alot of changes in the story more dialogue and more quests or is it basically the same game that was released for xbox?
Played it on the box a few months ago, was too childish and consoleish for my taste...

I've been playing it for a while now, I have done the mission and killed the wasp, never went into the city. Anyway, I haven't seen any _real_ changes so far, they will probably show up later in the game (daah). The graphics are improved a bit and it runs smoothly on my system although I didn't thought it would.

And yes, you start off as a child.

WOW - Dungeon Siege 2 and now Fable..seems to be a good time for action-rpg fans

OK, before I am trying to get it I have a question:

How are the controls??? cursor and mouse for camera or what? Or do you need a gamepad? How do you control the fights?I am asking because I tried this strange "Sudeki" few hours ago and that has the WORST control scheme I ever saw in an action-rpg. I unistalled it after 15 minutes. Horrible!

Fable is also a console port as mentioned here. If Fable has a similar control scheme like "Sudeki" that would be a desaster in my opinion (for such a promising game). If the controls are like Dungeon Siege 2 or Gothic 2 it would be OK, I think.

thx Wink

I withdraw my comments about the graphics, it's actually alot clearer and better than the xbox-version. Hopefully they have made the game harder since it was way too easy on the xbox. And on the xbox you play with crappy controllers, keyboard+mouse just makes it all alot easier.
