HTC has really good support, i complained about the battery drain on my phone back in 2010 (HTC Desire) and they contacted me and said they send me a new battery. A few days later it arrived from the United Kingdom to my home adress.

Maybe I should reach out to them then, my Desire's battery is finally starting to degrade after 2.5 years and there's no phone worth its money to replace it with for me Sad

2.5 years is way too long to expect any service now Werelds Razz

They bitched when i said that my phone was 1 year and 3 months old, that battery and such only have 1 year warranty here.
Then i told them i was HTC Elevate member and they caved Laughing

I wanna get into Elevate as well.

I plan on getting a One X or Sensation as soon as possible (seriously contemplating that One X, it's a beauty. Wonder if that's gonna grant me entry, but from what I understood, they're selecting you.

Yep you are picked if new spots open up, but for now it's still a closed community with only a few members.

Each month they pick 1 random active person that gets a free HTC device of his/her choice Very Happy
And we get shitloads of other perks aswell, don't think the community will ever grow bigger then ~1500 people.
Too much people ain't good aswell as we are basically the direct feedback towards HTC.

Well, shit, then.

Getting a One X and asking for another one (in the monumental spark of luck, if I'd be selected) would be out of my moral bounds. I can't receive free stuff, such as this. Not from HTC anyway.

Hello Pascal!
Would you care for a phone upgrade? Hopefully you would, because you and a few others have been selected for an upgrade to a Sensation XL, compliments of HTC and HTC elevate! Why? Because you rock in HTC elevate (i.e. you participate frequently) and we wanted to put a new phone in your hands.

If you choose to accept this mission, please complete this activity by 9am EST on October 15th and we'll send you a new Sensation XL!

3rd phone from them for free Very Happy
Joining HTC Elevate is prolly the best thing that happend in the last years of my life Very Happy

And once more, i have to express my thanks towards HTC.

Because the coating on the back of my phone is letting go, i'm getting a free One S.

So far their service, since i joined Elevate, has been superb. All companies should have something like this for their loyal customers tbh, it's a super smart way to keep the core fanbase close to the company and for the company to design a phone with options they get as feedback from that community.

Have you actually BOUGHT a phone since you joined their elevate program? Seems they keep sending you every new model based on various issues that usually doesn't happen. My old Desire is still functioning as it's supposed to and it's an old phone.

Nope, why would i buy one when the current one isn't even 2 years old..

And what do you mean with "various issues that usually doesn't happen"?
There are enough phones where the battery started to expand due to heat, enough phones where coating starts to let go, enough Sensations where the letters fell off.

The only difference is that usually for such things, you don't get support, especially after a year has passed already. Wink

Lol that's why you were defending the "pixel size that matters" crap. Yuo were sent one and had to convince yourself the camera is excellent.

You fail to read properly, perfect example of shouting before looking once more here on the hump:
