I´ll just finnish dl:ing Advent Rising on my 0.5mbit >_< then this game is the first on my list.
I think everyone should try this out. I´ts a really uniqe RPG, than dispite the cut features is a very good game. These games don´t come to the PC very often so here´s your chance.

Could someone give me an overview of this game and what it's about, and why it's so good? I never even heard about it until a few months ago when there was a commercial for the Xbox version on TV and then people on here on nforce started talking about it. I read a few reviews but they're all shit. They just keep going on about how good the game is, but they hardly ever say what sets it apart from other games. So what exactly is so special about this game?
Gigabyte S-Series GA-G33-DS3R, Intel C2D Quad Q6600 OC @ 3.2Ghz, 4gb Kingston PC8500 1066Mhz DDR2, Geforce 7800GTX (will get a 9800GTX when they are released), 2 x 250Gb HD's and a case with built in paper and lotion dispenser.

They already told you what's new.
NEW AREAS TO EXPLORE.
They aren't going to toss them right in the beginning.
They are obviously mid-high content.

No, my apologies, I didn't mean to come off as a jackass like that.
It wasn't really aimed at you, it was aimed at the people who think this is an entirely different game or something, and they get disappointed when they see the same things as the XBOX version.  |

Great looking game! Played for like 20 minutes all settings maxxed out & 4X AA - very airy look to game bit like Gothic II with nice view distances, though textures are mediocre. Controls WASD + mouse work ok. Nice humour in the game & you can be good or bad. Think I'll Be Bad ;-P

hey- I have 9550 128mb overclocked to 9600 pro but flash it back to default bios to test at normal 9550 and i have amd 2800+ not overclocked and 1 gig dual and the game runs smoothly on my system...

hi,
anyone have same problem as me or knows what i can do please?
i set my resolution to my native res 1280x1024x32 and set all options to max... the game starts to load and is in 1280x1024 res... btu abotu half way through loading up, it jumps to 640x480. When game starts i click options and try to change back but can only see half of the options as the rest goes offscreen.. so i have to minimize and shut down.
anyoen know how i can have it keep my res at 1280x1024 please?

im playing on 1280 by 1024 with no problems.

I love this game for XBOX, It was fun, I used to be a super duper bad guy. well I beat the xbox version pretty quick, slayed all the guards with my super strong sword and Now I can do it all over again, I hope it has ALOT of different areas, or it will be to easy.

In the xbox version I was so evil that Flys flew around me, I had horns and my eyes were red and I had pale pale pale skin, it was awesome. Every citizen feared me, Good game. The scariest part of the game was the Balverines, they would jump out of nowhere, good thrills.

It did that for me at first too. I had to start the game as 640x480 and then change it to 1280x1024 ingame. Has been working wonderfully since then.

Seriously guys, I suck at this game. When I'm up against 4 or 5 enemies I get hit all the time. How are you supposed to come through unscathed when some midget monsters are throwing bombs at you while 4 others are hacking your bones?
