Didn't bother checking the kickstarter link too 
Don't get me wrong, I liked the series but I somehow thought that this would never work.
Wonder what else could show up in this model...

Let me see: Firefly, Babylon 5, Space Above and Beyond. But if Veronica Mars is successful, maybe some old classics can get the same treatment?!
From the kickstarter link i see that the goal was reached and the campaign it's still open for another 30 days.

2 millions in one day, i'd say that Veronica Mars had more loyal fans that i've ever suspected. And plenty of days to get more. I think only Project Eternity was funded so fast. But I have a feeling that the Veronica Mars campaign might end up as the most successful Kickstarter campaign so far.

Firefly would get it big as well.
Babylon 5 not so much. It's dead now.

But they already had their movie that concluded the main story line, no?
They should make a kickstarter to increase the amount of episodes in a game of thrones season. 10 eps and then 1 year pause  |

Yeah, right, SG-1 is pretty much done. Ori defeated with deus ex machina and even Baal got his own feature. There was supposed to be a joint SG-1/SGA movie, this would've been a great send off. Too bad RDA is so bloated now, he wouldnt be able to leave his chair.
