LOL! I was amazed this game even released this month. I know it was scheduled for it, but with just a handful of gameplay videos being out, I figured an imminent delay was in place. Looks like Deelix will be our guinea pig, as usual. Wink

It's a guilty pleasure but i LOVE it. Graphics are 2006 but the atmosphere is there and gameplay is totally fine. I love it being @ mission 3.

The game is fun and challenging... it really is a survival game Surprised Really reminds me of Dead Island, the same average gfx and gameplay Very Happy

I really like it. Just played the first few missions. The environments and visuals are admittedly disappointing and look dated but its fun to play and has some good ideas like the branching mission options and resource management.

I like how the walkers break down doors as well! Nice touch. Another touch is why the fuck does it rain when I sprint? Oh its sweat, is it? Hmm it looks poor and should have been left out of the game lol. It also has a sweet intro similar to the TV show complete with the theme tune! Smile

It does feel like a poor mans Dead Island and Im not sure if Ill buy it for PS3 now I have a working 360 version. Im pretty sure theres no online play which is another reason I might have considered it for PS3.

The graphics aspect went out the window, as soon as Telltale introduced their version of The Walking Dead. I remember a lot of people on our Indian boards being skeptical about the game, just because the "graphics" were dated. But then the storyline, narration & choices in the game blew everyone away. So I'm not really bothered about the graphics part, as long as the story and gameplay elements are fused properly.

It a playable old skool time waster, probably too ghetto for a lot of console gamers though. I wasted a couple of hours on it so far. GFX are ass, voice acting isn't real bad and it plays ok

Sweet! Regarding the 'travel settings' where you get to choose back road, streets or highway for travelling, do you get different missions or locations depending on which you choose?

yeah, you never get road blocks on the highway it seems like. I could be wrong tho. I mostly choose streets or highway. Searching for fuel or a battery is most common.

What happens if you run out of gas? Does the game just dump you in a location to find some? When I played I did the first part, went to town, picked up two survivors and then ended up at a farm house a long the left hand route.

Its sort of not relevant, because you do stop exactly where you run out of fuel and you get an auto unmarked location to look for fuel. Its a bit repetitive, but getting new items, ammo etc. is worth it Very Happy

So theres alot of places to go to do missions, search for fuel and stuff?

How good is the story?
- You only get to play both brothers or only daryl?
- How open is the game? buildings to search for items? towns?
- Can you drive cars?
- The missions are fun? what you need to do?
- Does it have side-missions?
- Does it get repetitive?
- How long does it take to complete the game at 100%? (do all missions,side-missions, collectibles?)

Trying to find more gameplay videos on youtube, but nothing Sad

1. only daryl
2. id say fair, you can search houses, but far from all.
3. no, its automatic... its how the game progresses. you can only choose between cars (when you get new ones.)
4. The missions are pretty cool, the game as a good vibe to it Smile Scripted sequences and good level variation makes the game pretty fun at least.
5. yeah, it has some simple side missions, and you are of course rewarded for them. When I say simple; find the police mans hat Very Happy
6. not yet at least.
7. don't know, it looks like the game has 3 acts (looking at achiements) im on act 2, and it seems to have more locations. You can't go back... because the whole idea of the game is traveling without looking back.

I can answer his questions but not for him and I am a fan of the tv show Smile

There are collectible items in the game.

Id rate the game a generous 7 out of 10 as the visuals are way below today's standards.

I think overall it is a fun and enjoyable game if you are not a graphics ho Smile
