Yeap it is literally on rails most of the time. So if you don't explore the areas I can see how you can finish it really quickly. |

I became VIP only to find out most early leaked games on the FTP server are for consoles. FFS, I can't play shit. Did anyone warn me about it? Nope. "Come on consolitis, you'll be VIP one day, you'll be able to play early all the cool games too. <3".

well that's because steam drm is uncrackable and getting early copies of console games is a lot easier than cracking steam drm before release. We thought you'd know this. And hacked xboxes are cheap cheap. \o/

Why? The Oleds apparently produce a pretty stunning picture, and according to nearly all reviews, the best 3d image around. And I won't be able to create something similar below 400 bucks (which is what I paid for the set). Did you actually try the hmz? If it sucks it's going back on ebay immediately
Edit: And I don't care for headtracking. Latency would be terrible with a set you built yourself (i magine it'll probably be way above 50ms, which is totally unacceptable). The rift is the first device that gets latency below 40 and closer to 30 which is still shitty but maybe small enough to finally make VR playable. |
you wont be sorry... well t1 had some small fit and finish issues but its same basic design as my T2... after u game in 3D with that headset, nothing else compares really. just make SURE u give it ENOUGH time and fiddle with it and find best settings... took me a good week of solid use to find best way to mount it on my head and adjust picture settings to optimal sets... at first due to improper setting it was like looking at a 20inch tv in a dark room.... THEN it was like IMAX later lol
