downloaded 22gb of bf3 and thought that the dlc´s are included, but nope, gotta have to download another 8gb for just End Game, and Armored Kill . I hope Aftermath and Close Quarters are not worth getting it .
Meh... it's not hard at all. You just point your Javelin or guided missile in some direction and you will get a lock faster than you will even realise that a bike is there.
It works best from an elevated position though.

They should introduce an unlockable uber-burnout counter-measure, as soon as you hear the beep! you press the button et voilà.

well they also got lucky that no one actually tried to bring the viper down, except for the few igla´s, whenever i fly i get locked on before i even lift up :/
He also kept his distance most of the time by staying high up on the edge of the map and taking out anything that moved into range, including soflams. Normally the pilot would move closer to battle to have something to do as well. This one obviously was playing for the sake of the gunner.
I doubt it would work so well when you don't have a gunner who's so great at seeking out targets and aiming though
