PS3 version is problably worthless anyway. So few games looks good on it compared to the other platforms.

With these releases so ubiquitous you'd think finding someone who can mod a PS3 would be easy. Oh well I can wait, big projects due this week that would absolutely fall to the wayside with this release.

For people on 4.21, I can assure you the game works fine on 4.21 too. Hell, the 1.01 patch downgrades the game to 4.20 anyway Very Happy

Thank goodness the game works without a disk in the PS3, good news for those who have broken Blueray drives like me. I was not able to play God Of War Ascension, but at least I can play this. Very Happy

All Unreal games will work discless on PS3 from now on. Make sure you have the latest multiman that "improves" discless compatibility, and thus allows them to boot up fine.

mini review because people always ask for it:

Sound : amazing, i play it in french though, but the french dubbing is amazing, same for the music. Just think about Bioshock 1, yes that's right !

Gameplay : same as Bioshock 1, but with melee for now. That's good enough for me ! Plus it works with PS Move :DDDDDD

Graphics : they are good, the city is so huge and feels really alive... You wanna stop at every corner to see what happens here and there. It's like the video we have seen anyway, they didn't bullshit. Please note that the PS3 verison at least allows you to disable VSYNC, which is quite rare for a console game. Doing this will sometimes allow you to enjoy some scenes at 60fps (mostly at the beginning, then more like 30 fps), but you will have screen tearing.

The textures are shitty, low rez though. But the art is really nice. I was more impressed by Tomb Raider than Bioshock Infinite technically speaking. Also the picture is blurry, at least on PS3, and after playing a game like GoW Ascension or Tomb Raider (both on PS3 that is), you can see the picture isn't as clear. It's what you would expect from a dying console, the graphics are still great !

Story : too early to tell, for now it's interesting, it really as mysterious as when you play the first Bioshock.

All in all : do you remember when you were playing Bioshock 1 ? It was special, fresh.
You will feel the same in Bioshock Infinite.

And I hated Bioshock 2.
