(cuz thats what van dam is - seriously, he doesnt have any martial arts training, just someone showed him how to do certain flashy kicks that are useless as tits on a bull lol). |

lol No im not wrong. Trust me on this...I have trained with Segal when they shot Exit Wounds in toronto. The man is a 7th degree black belt and the only white dude to open a dojo in japan and have it be successful.
But Van dam on the other hand bought his black belt from a las vegas tae kwon do instructor after his first 2 movies...he holds an annual tournament in Las Vegas, which I have competed in 3 times...I've seen him get his ASS KICKED by fellow team mates of mine (I was on Team Canada) and guys i dont know. He has NEVER won his own tournament. The guy is a fuckin poser and joke in the martial arts community...lol I once saw a brazilian judo 3rd degree take him out with one lock...speared him, hooked his ankle, rolled him and pretty french boy gave up like a lil girl...
Im not gunna debate this with u still cuz the fact that u said what u did shows u know nothing of the martial arts world...which I have been part of for oh, close to 20 years now...Ive competed on the world circut, both point fighting and full contact and won my fair share of titles and know many ppl in the game, so to speak.
Sorry, but the fact that u stated it as a fact is very...i dunno, upsetting to me? It bugs me alot still cuz Segal is a good guy and AN AMAZING MARTIAL ARTIST. Amazing, and considering he is the 2nd in charge of the Akidio Federation means he's amazing. He's kinda fucked tho and egotisical but I would be too if I was a bad ass like him.
