How to Disable Aim Assist and Make Mouse Movements Smooth
Go to \Steam\steamapps\common\BioShock Infinite\Engine\Config\BaseInput
You need to turn EnableMouseSmoothing, Softlockaim and Aim Assist to False.

Just click on my name in binsearch, i have uploaded the FLT crack only aswell, should work with this version
Or get the proper win32 folder that i have upped, has the steamworks fixed crack, but does need steam running in the background.

Ah didn't check that, don't care that much about DLC anyway
I could upload that one aswell, but i presume most of you guys know where to get the crack only.
Otherwise use the proper win32 folder with steam in background, then you get DLC aswell (if im correct )

FieldOfView keeps resetting to 1.000000 in XUserOptions but MaxUserFOVOffsetPercent stays the way I set it and I can control FOV through that.

i had another "find the cipher" quest but i already boarded gandola and left this place because i didnt want to waste any more time there- there was nothing even remotely close to a cipher. |

the game is very nice thanks to the atmospher and the story line (and how it is progress) but about the graphics...i have seen better visuals in the past and better physics.
i guess the secret of the game is it's wonderfull atmospher.

Good lord, can someone tell me where is all horsepower of my GTX670 goes into? The game isn't even astonishingly looking, in fact, it is pretty mediocre in graphics and not so different from original games. Bulky model, barely good for PC resolution of textures, incredible low amount of details and very short detailed range rendering for shadows and vegetation. Tesselation? Haha, don't make me laugh:
I can get better results with Parallax occlusion mapping.
So, basically all the power goes into bloom. Because holyshit game compensates everything with bloom and flares. They should have named it Bloomshock.
And the most interesting part is that this game makes my GPU (even tho I'm getting constant 85FPS mostly with rare slowdowns down to 20FPS) sweat at 48C. Really? Even Crysis 3 and ultrahigh (despite 10-15fps performance) never ever goes higher than 38C. What the hell.
Wish that was the only issue. Memoryleaks are terrible. The moment I reached fair scenes - the game crashed due to low memory. Within 40minutes of walking and exploration gameplay it managed to eat all 6GB available. Not much for 2013, alright, but damn, spoken Crysis 3 never went above 4Gb.
Oh, and - I ,for one, welcome the beautiful legacy of console age - invisible walls. Everywhere! In invisible walls we trust! I don't even want to ask the question why would you so tremendously and with love design every damn corner just to put such silly limits later. I miss times when games were trying to be like half-life in such aspect. I really do.

Eye-candy isn't a problem for me, never was. But it is still a valid issue that game violates my GPU that much for nothing and it bugs my OCD.

Looking good so far, just tricked the machine to enter that restricted area right next to the fair.
No 10/10 sightings yet though
Although I do see a dumbass checkpoint only system and some lifeless NPC's hanging around everywhere I look but this wasn't intended as a game with an heavy focus on exploration so I'll let that one slide.
The shooting so far is OK, only tried the shotgun and the air rifle (I'm assuming that those versions are the same as the ones we'll use later in the game?).
Oh and that eye bleeding bloom...

At the highest settings (DX11 only) it uses some pretty sophisticated shadow and ambient occlusion tweaks plus there's a option for a more advanced depth of field effect which isn't as blurry.
(The AO effect is called HQHDAO it seems or HDAOHQ and the shadows use contact hardening plus some smoothing effect, FXAA if enabled can also utilize shader model 5.)
There's no tessellation though, that above is just common normal-mapping.
Game still runs great but I'd imaging dropping shadows from ultra to high (V.High and Ultra are DX11 dependent.) would show a large framerate gain even so.
(Plus it has enabled most of the UE3 visual settings, HQ bloom, HQ light-streaks, negative detail bias for textures and stuff I don't fully understand, really high cache for that texture streaming system as well.)

I get 60+ fps on my GTX 680. The game is hardly demanding, and I think it looks decent. Higher res textures wouldn't help much given the art style and design of the visuals isn't supposed to look realistic to begin with.

From the screenshots I've seen this looks like one of the best looking games ever. There's more to visuals than texture resolution

so hard difficulty is what we should be doing to get the most out of this? You can always change difficulty mid game right?

You could try 1999 mode, the code is posted somewhere in this thread.
(Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, B, A or what it was.)
Can't change difficulty once you've chosen that mode however.
