How is the story for you?

After Telltale's masterpieces the story here ain't worth mentioning. Honestly I wasn't even expecting it to be present.

I only enjoy the serie's scouting/scavenging scenes atmosphere (those shot with stedicam with Rick and Daryl aiming their weapons and clearing rooms or corners) which is perfectly translated into gameplay.

I don't understand complaints about the game being boring. Suspense and thrills = Telltale's games. Here we a have a simulator. And I haven't seen any variation to zombie disposal in the series itself. It's always the same. Bullet/arrow/sharp object/blunt object. It's the same in the game.

Basically what people complain about is the lack of a thrill ride on rails which they will then bash for being on rails...

Anyway I'm happy for having the ability to see something good in something that is not a pure diamond. Remember that I liked and defended Colonial Marines Very Happy

What? Laughing

So it has no story, no suspense (in a "horror" game), no AI (look at videos), no gameplay, not even COD-style "linear hold my hand from start to finish". So what the fuck does it have? Laughing

I sense you just like to defend things that get universally bashed. Like Aliens. Hmm "remembers me" another game, Soldier of Fortune 3; what did you think of that one? You Suspicious Be

I guess some of us just outgrew the ability to play nothing for the sake of nothing just to waste time. Perhaps Deelix will love it. Rolling Eyes

Jesus you really have a narrow mind, guys. Stripped from the drama, dialogs, QTEs etc what do we have? Just a simulator of your foraging actions in abandoned towns. Perhaps your PC gaming experience suggests that a 'simulator' must have complex resource management etc etc but not necessarily. Think about industrial simulators like driving some bus and shit.

I wanted a game where you can't go rambo on zombies and FINALLY I got it. Even dead island wasn't like that. And Dead Rising too. And a lot of people think the same way - not the spoiled ATI 7970 elite club, of course.

Today I didn't even need to use my AK. I gotta say it was a good day. (c) - Ice Cube

Im playing this game now and im loving it.

Never played anything like this, its different.

You can choose where to go and if you want to stop to look for supplies or survivors.

Its open with side-missions.

Saw some interesting actions done by zombies already, like bring doors down and act like a zombie from the tv show.

Sure the graphics are PS2 like and sometimes zombies get stuck and if you have some kind of object between you and the zombies they go around it to get to you, they cant jump.

If you can erase that from your mind you will enjoy playing this game.

Id give it 7/10.

If this is a 7/10, then Telltale's 5 episode TWD-game is a 129875/10 - fucks sake.

Yes, yes I'm back.
Somewhat.

Not really fair to compare those two. Even tho they are about the same game they are totally different types of games Wink The first 30min of this game it really feels like a 7/10 game, then you discover that there isn't much more to the game and that they use the same locations over and over and over...... Sad
