Since no one mentioned it before...
You do realise your behaviour and actions aren't really normal in a healthy relationship right?
At least you come over as a pretty strange individual when it's about female relations.
Just amazed that no one mentioned that most normal girls would'nt be ok with nude pictures of their boyfriends friends. And that friend really seems a bit unstable tbh...
Why would she send you those pictures in the first place? I mean sure nice for you but don't you sometimes stop and think where this behaviour comes from?
I base this by assuming you are telling the truth tho... Even tho I bumped into those nina pictures on some porn ads before. I mean if she's stable... why would she want them spread across the internet? (I'd understand it a bit more if she'd actually would earn money with it, but the norm is still most of those are also unstable).
Or maybe it's just a case of them being young and naive but still, their behaviour strikes as odd.
Or that Gina one is just acting ok with it all...

I didn't see a big deal with the pictures. It wasn't like I have sexual feelings for nina. When she first started doing this naked picture thing last year, I actually did not like it. I told her I didn't like the idea of her posting pics on reddit and that it was crazy. But after a little while I got used to the idea. Shes been in a relationship with her current bf for the past 5 or 6 years . But he doesn't really show much physical interest in her most of the time.
She had a fucked up childhood and I wont judge her for it. She just wanted to feel beautiful which was initially the whole point of her taking pics of herself and spreading it on reddit. And me being her best friend, she felt that my opinion of her was/is important which is why she sends me naked pics for approval. To which I always tell her she looks great and is not ugly and blah blah
She even did a live webcam session twice at the end of last year and told me about it. She made around $500 in 2 hours the last time. She said her boyfriend didn't mind but that was really crossing the line and I called her out on it. I told her shes better than that shit and shouldn't do it ever again and Im glad she listened. She still takes pics (not as often as she used to) but at least she never did that webcam thing again.
Im not about to sit here and analyze nina's behavior because it has very little to do with this thread. Yes I had nude pics of her on my phone, I didn't see it as a big deal because they didn't really mean anything

It's a really fucked up world where girls need to flaunt themselves and "ask" for attention to know if they are enough for their peers. Everywhere you go where a picture of some girl are shown there's tirade after tirade about their flaws and limitations, and then of course there's the anti "attention-whore" crew asking for attention by whining about girls asking for attention.
Whilst I would not mind telling a girl she looks good, I just wish Internet in particular but the world in general wasn't so fucking crude about shit like this. I guess I understand now why some people really need to smoke weed, coz fuck do some people need to mellow out.

Ahhhhh sad situation... But I agree it's not you it's her. Sounds like things went way too fast and she had self esteem issues and was fearful of things not working out (ur best friend stuff don't help.) and she decided to ditch.
I know it hurts but if I was in ur shoes I would text her saying I wish her the best and wish things had turned out different but I have to cut communication now in order to begin to get over her as hard s it may be. Then delete all pics and reminders and stuff.
Shitty situation and I been there and it hurts. Good luck

The situation is quite fine at the moment and Im happy. Gina called me this morning before she went in to work. We just talked for 5 or 6 minutes. It was totally casual, we laughed and stuff. All of yesterday I casually talked to her about how things will be like once we have new bf's and gf's. I told her we are like Ted and Robin from HIMYM lol and she agrees. The situation is sort of similar. We physically like eachother a lot, the sex is amazing, we get along great but for some reason its just doomed to fail no matter what. I feel like I am already used to the idea of us never being together, but Im not letting her go as my friend, ever.
Also, I feel like I have to put the whole 'me having naked pics of nina' thing to rest. This happened this morning and this how I usually end up with pics of nina on my phone:
Can you blame me? Should I just crush my best friend's spirit and tell her to stop sending me things like this? You would be heartless if you did. I just happened to have these pics on my phone, they honestly dont mean anything to me. I don't look at them and get all turned on (that is what gina thought and that is why she was angry). I dont think I ever was turned on by any of the pics Nina has ever sent me
Anyways, theres a weird development going on with the situation between me and gina. But I dont think it will change anything, nor do I want it to. Yesterday while we were talking, all of a sudden she asked me a hypothetical question about what I would do if she was pregnant. Because she apparently missed her period and has been feeling sick in the morning the past few days. I basically just calmed her down and told her Im here for her no matter what. She took a pregnancy test yesterday but it was negative. She wants to take one more test on wednesday to be 100% sure. I hope shes not pregnant but even if she was, it really wouldn't be the end of the world

Well if you don't want to go into her problems then don't tell her. Even though I think getting her to lose the need for this behaviour would do her better in the end. But you should decide if it is your place or not.
Just don't keep those photo's around for your next girlfriend That is a thing you can do and save you problems in the long run.
And if you want a safe place for them maybe you can send em to Farne J/K!
Well hope for you two she isn't pregnant, but like you said it wouldn't be the end of the world.

We talked about the possibility of her being pregnant. She said she will get an abortion, shed have no choice. I also dont mind helping her pay for it, seeing as how shes not just my ex shes also my good friend. I just hope shes not pregnant because I want to buy a new video card

Something doesn't add up here. Live webcam session and made $500 off it. And she listened.... so she backed off the idea because of your words of wisdom? That takes some work to set up. You gotta get 3 party billing, bank info, a site to go through, clients directed to you.... a taste of good money and she just stopped?

She didn't do it for the money, I forgot to specify that. Shes studying to be a doctor and she lives in a good home. She has a pretty successful future ahead of her. Why she does the things she does, I have no idea. According to her, she did it for fun and made money from it. But the money wasn't the purpose of her webcam session. Sorry to disappoint but no April fools. Shes just going to take the pregnancy test again on wednesday and that will decide whether I get a new video card or not. Other than that, were both quite happy at the moment

I have no interest in seeing her anywhere online. Well she went through a lot of effort to set that so she did get paid according to you. Why would she stop? Nothing makes an insecure girl feel more beautiful then getting money outta men. If it wasn't for money she just would of went to some yahoo webcam and did it for free.

Honestly pistol, I have no idea what she was thinking when she did those 2 sessions and why she did it for money and not for free. Im not a psychologist so I didn't really dig into the issue. All I did was tell her that I didn't like her doing that stuff and that I think shes much better than that. And she became somewhat emotional and thanked me because I seemed to be the only person that cared enough to tell her that its wrong
After that she stopped. Also even though she currently attends med school, she also has a pretty high paying job at a moment. So she doesn't really have financial problems. You have to also keep in mind that were not just good friends, Im her BEST friend as in my word trumps all her other friends' opinions.
