Once again the company handleing my finances is late with giving me my weekly money, this is all i have left for today..

 Spoiler:

Usually the money would be long on my account by now, and worse part is, always on this day the company can't be reached because it's their day off... -.-'

Seriously, never let a company manage your finances... i even have to pay them €110,- per month Laughing Pathetic pieces of shit over there..

They don't care if i have no food and am dying here, aslong as they get their money fucking fuckfaces

why would you let a company manage your finances in the first place?
for 110eur a month!!! (which is the minimal wage/social help here)

I'm forced to do so by the gov, "Bewindvoering" is what we call it here..
I got no choice in that matter...

All they do is let every company know that i got that status, that they manage my finances, then they get monthly my bills and pay them with my money.
Then the little that is left, i get weekly to come by with.. (that's the €40,-) and sometimes i can get €10,- extra or so per month if i'm lucky...

Oh you are in debt then, and I dont mean debt as in spending more than you have of a wage but, that you spent way too much and borrowed in the past and now you are forced like they would in most financial situations to sort of go "bankrupt" then anything you earn is controlled to make sure you are paying back a fixed amount?

so you are crap with money Very Happy

Yeah more or less like that.

I never was able to manage my own money, because noone ever teached me.
Went to a couple of private companies that handle finances, but they got me further into trouble.
So my only option was "Bewindvoering", this was done voluntary by me and i had to agree in court in order to get this.
The problem is that there is no difference being made if i had to do this voluntary or not..
And the other problem is that complaining about such a company to the judge is a pain in the ass process that rather wants you to just give up...

Is it a temporary thing? I mean 110 EU/month for setting up some autopayments and just checking up on stuff sounds a bit excessive.

Nah, this person has been managing my money for the past 2 years already..

Thing is, the gov does cover the expenses, i get 75% of it back, but only once a year..
The problem is that the €110,- missing in my monthly budget is quite an amount and cuts big in my weekly money..

Well would you rather get everything but pay all your expenses and debts yourself?

I wouldn't have posted this anywhere tho. The thing you're doing isn't a thing to be proud off.
Handling your finances is pretty basic, never understood why people can't handle it.

It's actually quite bad that governments need to put cash and effort in such things. And most you get is the people in the program whining. And only a small percentage get out of it and learn to manage themselves.

I do get your frustration tho, it's never fun when they screw up with a paycheck. My friend had that at our previous job a few times. But in order to get rid of that (seeing it occurs frequently for you) is start working on yourself so you can manage yourself with a budget better (even with a social income yes). Then one day you don't need em and don't have to rely on them.

And just a general advice for anyone. live your life according to your budget, it works.

Can't you pick a different company to manage your money?

I had about £7000 worth of debts and I just refused to pay. The companies I owed the money to didn't take me to court (probably lost the credit agreements) and now it's been more than 6 years so the debts are wiped clean, statute barred. It's an awesome feeling to not owe money. There is so much stress when you have debts.

It's not a company it's pretty much a government instance.

I know, and i would rather do nothing else then handle it myself.
The thing is that i never go teached how to do it, when i was 18, i got kicked out of the house and i had to sort all shit myself, nobody helped me with anything..
I have asked the companies and people managing my money countless times if they could help me get independence with it financial matters, but none bothered to help once more..

I can go to another, but it's gonna cost me €75,- and shitloads of paperwork.
These companies are not government instances, they are completely independent, that's the whole problem.
They only have to justify their actions once a year with a judge, wich i don't even get to see what they submit...
But these companies are in the dozens, and most of them abuse clients and cause more debts. There is nothing anyone can do as virtually nobody believes the people over them...

Lucky for me, my debts have never been that much, even now, it's my biggest one yet, still "only" €2000,-.
I should be done with paying off in sept. this year.. (altho no extra money left for other things, like GPU upgrade Sad )
The problem is that when i have money in my hands, it itches me to spend it, doesn't matter on what... I need to get rid of that before i will be able to sort my own shit.

Saus I had to move out pretty early myself, seeing it was not working with my stepdad. He was terrorising my mother and well it came a few times of him having to call the police because he got scared. (never had problems with them, since they sided with me)

So basically I moved out before getting kicked out. I couldn't handle seeing my mother like that.
Noone taught me budget either, and to some degree I actually follow ankh's opinion. It's not something they have to teach you. You can get taught to do better but usually that is actually shaping one's personality rather than teaching someone a budget.

Anywho my advice would be, try to manage yourself. Maybe investigate what would be beneficial for you since it always differs on the person.

But it usually comes down to that for you saus, don't expect someone else to do it for you, it just results in excuses. You have to do most of the things yourself. But I know it is hard, just realise it will always be a road with ups and downs just don't stay in the down.

btw, I call them government instances since after all they get a lot of funds directed from them. Or deductions, it's how you want to see it.

So you rant about a family member attempting to earn her income by becoming a porn star, whilst you fucked up your finances so bad that you had to resort to bewindvoering, thats too funny to be honest.

While I agree with you, most of the brazilians don't Laughing
Most people here are in debt because they can't handle their money. Seriously, I have a friend earning about 1000 usd a month who wants to (and probably will, despite my countless protests) buy a new car for 500 usd a month (for 48 months!!), and he has a daughter!

I've never heard about this system Sausje is complaining about, we have nothing like it here, but it really seems like a good thing putting some people on this kind of forced financial management...

You fail to read as usual again Laughing

Read it again, i didn't fuck up anything yet, this was all done voluntary by my own will.
I could had taken care of it myself, but i have fuck loads of other problems that require more of my attention then this.
This was something i could give out of hand so it wouldn't be a burden for me (altho it has been more a burden then i had hoped..)
Yes i got a few debts, but nothing too serious, and those debts ain't even caused by me, it's because of my shitty dad in Germany that is sueing me of "Ortszuschlag" and "Kindergeld", he sued the company giving that money to those that it belongs to (in this case me and not him), and he won (just because i live in the NL...), so now the company is demanding it back from me, while i spend it on clothes and such things already years ago..

But as usual you like to jump the gun and do cheap shots towards me Wink

We both know that the alternative to bewindvoering would have been even more hilarious. Laughing

Anyway Im not cheapshotting you, I just find it remarkable that you go completely overboard on that family member whilst apparently your entire family has issues, not to mention your latest sister with phone thread.
