Forest battles were always quite difficult to manage because you couldn't see through the trees very well. Always tried to avoid them. Hopefully they have improved it with a possibility to hide the trees a little bit

You can clearly see that those are ingame shots. Maybe some touch with photoshop to aliasing, but thats it, nothing special tbh.

That's how they have done images for most Total War games (Since Rome I believe.) probably due to people being more into graphics these days.
(For gameplay I believe they do videos as it better showcases that.)

EDIT: Kinda.

Some people just can not let others enjoy what they believe, can they? you say something and it is shot down instantly.

Game looks fantastic, if they can improve on the reliability of Shogun 2 and add it to the Roman world I am excited. Will get this game regardless, have them all since Shogun 1.

Have a nice day.

Can't wait to invade and squash rome with my barebreasted savages Me Gusta

I only hope that the Co-Op campaign allows the two players to pick the same faction though or else I have to fight to the death with my buddy over who get's to play the early Schwaben (Suebi).

Ah well, it's still a long time till October. Enough time to let the hair grow and sport a Suebenknoten with pride. Laughing

eye candy is fun for the first 3-4 hours, after that if the gameplay is still the same old boring siege repeat .... well you can have your candy and all your teeth extracted at the dentist Sad

I gave up on expecting anything good for CA after Empire. Their games have the same trouble that was in Medieval 1 for fuck sake.

They make more complex sieges, animations and maps with all the eye-candy but pathfinding is attrocious, controls are totally unresponsive and they are trying to stop modding (which was the best part of Rome and Medieval 2 for me).

This one will be good for 2 hours. Then you'll find out diplomacy is totally broken and RT combat is more of a chore than fun.

total war games are great, as long as you use the proper mods Smile

Thats really the question, how much is possible, if at all, to mod.

omg i still see this horrible cavalry pathfining where horses move in this lose formation crap letting many enemies escape ...

and using white lines they cloned from their musket fire crap as arrow animations .... have they no shame ....

so much time and effort they putting in this scenario .... play it twice and its boring cause its the same scripted shit everytime .... i dont want to play linear scenario crap, i want total random shit on campaign map ffs .... piss of with your scenarios.

hmm.. didnt they say that the overview mode is just for larger picture and that you cant issue orders in that screen? They've seem to change it, which is quite good.
