i liked fifa too
in 1998 !
every goal looks like the same and the gameplay is biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig crap !!
pes feels like real soccer the goals the situations, i love pes !!!!!
and the big editor is also very nice !!!

Wow, there better be a whole lot of graphical options that can be unlocked for the demo, because the forced 800x600 low settings makes their game look like shite. Overally not very impressed, but then its the same old rehash every year, so I guess its predicable if anything.
Its just a pity when you get great looking games coming up like Quake4 and Unreal 3 etc, with their really good looking models and great scenery, but in a football game, despite there being only a few people visible at once and a very small scenery they never seems to push the boundarys in the looks department. Considering the gameplay is exactly the same, no wonder it only takes them a year, if adding new music, kits and an every more simplistic menu is all the work they put into it.
Hopefully out of nowhere another company can spring up and take football to the next level because otherwise EA will keep churning this trash out and people will keep buying it.

I can't even play this game, guess my Nyko Air Flo EX isn't suported by EA... it's like you're holding the d-pad at a direction, it just going crazy and you cant get past the team select menu. Not that I really give a crap, I just wanted to see how much lamer this edition is compared to WE9.

When you think about it, its actually kinda sad that Japan is making the best football games, since most people there don't even care about the sport..
Haven't tried the demo yet, but as I read its the same shit as usual.. Locked 800x600 resolution: WTF ARE THEY THINKING!?!?
It's all about money, what do I care if Wayne Rooney looks better in this game than PES5, its the gameplay we're looking for, not graphics (which are shit too btw).. And what happened to the sound since fifa 99? The FIFA series used to have amazing SFX at the time, but last years they were just lame..

its because they offer hardly any support to different joypads. i got to about 50% on the download and then realised i was just being silly. they have got worse every year not better, winning eleven is superb, so why even bother with this crap.

I always thought it strange that EA doesn't let a european developer work on FIFA. The demo seems more like a test of controller agility with far too many buttons to press rather than a test of pseudo footballing skill

To get past the switching frensy in the menus you have to disable some usb things. I had to disable my usb mouse and I was able to play. I was just laughing when playing this crap. I can't belive how bad this is compared to WE/PES. Worst game ever, it's so fast and unrealistic... stay away from this.
