Both of them are simply evil. Still, what EA can do pales in comparison to what BoA can.
Of course as a gamer I care mostly about the former's actions, as they (Phenomic, damn you) hurt me the most, so I'd vote for EA...but what do I know, I'm apparently a pathetically single, LGBT hating moronic loser, and therefore my opinion matters not to the mighty Moore.

lol the other companies on that list can fuck with your bank account, job, food, water, air, the world your kids will inherit etc etc...lets vote ea as the worst because of some butthurt they caused by closing/cancelling/derping up our favorite games.
i predict that if humanity survives the next century, nations, religion and politics will be abolished, and wars will be fought over what console you like, what phone is in your pocket and whether or not you prefer kb/mouse to a gamepad.
of course, the pc mater race will come out on top, but it will be a hollow victory because there will be nothing but indie flash and java games left to play after ea devours video gaming and implodes under the crushing weight of its own gluttony and greed.

Well you can bitch about how more evil others are... Still doesn't change the fact EA deserves it as much as the other ones on the list.
And I bet it's because EA has a more direct influence on a global scale which is why they get much more hate.
And most of all... It's just a poll. Take it as entertainment and if you are that butt hurt just make your own list of the most evilistictist companies and realise no matter who you put on nr1 people will always bitch about someone else more deserving of that spot

Get a fucking grip people... let's assume that half of the votes are from outside america, you think most people know/give a fuck about BoA?
EA consumers voting for EA because that's the company that shafted them (of course there are some genuine hater votes in there), is it that hard to imagine?

It's an internet poll and ea has a dominant presence on the internet.
If BOA won nothing would happen. Literally. Nothing.
EA winning they're drafting yet another consumers are idiots and we're gods among men and we haven't done anything wrong and you're all against LGBT for voting letter.
EA needs to win as much as possible and it will change it's direction. It's the consumers who vote. Their bread and butter. EA cares about the results of this poll BOA doesn't.
Everyone publicly knows how fucked up BOA is. Does it change them? Do they stop fucking peoples lives? BOA is too big to jail. There are news reports monthly how BOA fucked someone over. It is the worst company in the world. And if the world were to vote... this poll would be holding very different results.
But the internet voted. And it did make an impact. It made an impact on the only company that it could actually make an impact to.
Everyone saying BOA should've won should pack their bags, go to ughmerica, start protesting the banks, and taking legal action against banks, try doing anything and see how it would all amount to nothing.

EA cares. In the end it's the consumers who keep EA afloat. and it's their consumers who voted. EA is nothing w/o its costumers. The EA PR is shit. The head of EA is shit. The main faces of EA are shit. They haven't done anything new in the game world for years. They're just adding features nobody wants. Always online, cloud saving, drm, less gameplay features and more features that restrict the gamer.
More and more of these that EA will win they'll know that they aren't gods.
And yes this is a blip on their radar. Yes they care because they're scared of their shareholders backing out. Companies like EA have more to lose from polls such as these than companies like BOA.

True, nothing would have happened no matter who won, EA, BP, BoA, Paypal,etc. it's still just some internet poll and the PR hit is negligible.
People like them react only when their actual consumers take action ( which they thankfully seem to do more often now). Still, out of the two in my opinion BoA should have been the winer;)
