I'm playing/re-playing lots of RPGs lately, including the modded New Vegas with a new custom ENB that surprisingly doesn't suck too much:

any chanche you could upload the enb/settings you're usin?, it looks great! It just happens i installed NV and a bunch of mods today.
Never really played that game, did the first parts, and then alot of small parts when my ex couldnt figure it out. figured its time to finish the game myself now, just a shame i alrteady know the plot lol

It's this one for the vanilla game (haven't tried the Nevada Skies one yet): http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/49882
I'm also using the effect.txt that comes up with the pack (you can find it inside the 'optional effects' folder. 
Just make sure to disable both the SSAO and shadows because they're broken:
EnableAmbientOcclusion=false
EnableDetailedShadow=false |
