Try to stop the net and if its working then its not blocked properly. If RELOADED is 2.0.6 game connects to some blizzard ports and knows there is patch and won't run. Completely block the game or use Snify offline loader.

thank you for the suggestion.
Even with the network cable unplugged I get the same message, I wonder if it is because I had the blackecho version installed before trying reloaded's version?
All I see after clicking the desktop exe is reloaded's name input screen and then after that a box flashes up for a fraction of a second and then after a minute or so the blizzard error message
Blackecho version re-installed and working (although it seems to take an age from clicking cancel on the streaming server window that pops up to offline mode).
Interestingly, when I fired up the blackecho version it prompted me to login with the rld e-mail address, so something is getting left behind by the installer
The long delay in starting the game seems to be firewall related. If you have any other firewall other than windows firewall (even things that sit on top of it like windows firewall control) the game takes an age to start.
So far have tried
Eset security
Kaspersky
Zone Alarm
Private Firewall
all take a minute or more to get to the offline screen, whereas windows firewall on its own gets there in seconds.
Any one else noticed this on both the reloaded and blackecho releases?

I have comodo firewall and it takes seconds for me (FLT release).

If u read the posts ud know that the flt release should be nuked because it didn't work on any new AMD FX procesors. The reloaded works on all machines. I use Outpost and it starts in 10 Seconds (Reloaded one).

I know that, but I don't have AMD so I don't care.
Thanks for all the firewall feedback guys, must be something very odd about my machine as the only one that gets it to start up correctly is the in-built windows firewall and all the rest take around 2 minutes for the game to get to the offline mode selection screen.
Really weird and it is driving me mad!
If I create a temporary rule (i.e. for the process that is running) to block sc2 from going online in eset smart security 6 it works fine, but if I create a permanent rule to block sc2 it takes 2 minutes (pretty much exactly) to get to the offline mode screen
You know on reflection I really don't know why I bought this sucking fucking cock smoking piece of shit game. I didn't really enjoy the single player, nor do I play multi.
I guess a couple of weeks ago when it came out, it made sense to buy it in my demented, drug-addled mind as there was no crack available. But now I'm sitting here posting this message like a gibbering man-ape and wondering why I made this choice in my life. I am now about 25-30$ poorer and for what? The story is shit, the dialogue in this game is shit, characters are shit, I'm shit, you're shit and I hate myself.
I always laughed at people who spent money on vain, stupid and glittery pieces of shit likes this game, but I never thought I'd be one of them. The retarded, brainless consumer. It is me.

The campaign was a bit underwhelming, weaker than WoL in any case, but I'd say multiplayer is at it's best as far as SC2 is concerned, with the new game modes as well as race changes.
Any newbies who wants to play some multiplayer games? I'm completely new to the game and probably well below bronze tier.
Wouldn't mind playing against some more experienced players either, but you probably won't get the most challenging games ever, but I'm always looking to learn.
personally i enjoyed the hots campaign more than the wol one even tho i both enjoyed em to great lengths there aren't many rts'es out there with good storytelling imho
