Hi... i'm just wondering if someone could give me any ideas to run the game since i'm on Windows x64 e both Alcohol and Daemon don't work, so i can't mount the .mds!!
I managed to install because i've converted it to .ISO , but cant make the game run!
So .. any ideas are welcome!!
Thanks !!

What a bunch of useful replys.
Why does it suck?
Is it becasue you actually have to hold a proper line?
Or that you have to break before entering a corner?
Or that you can highside or lowside your bike? |
It's the fakest physics I've ever seen on a motorbike.. |
? How so? Examples.
Have they changed from the previous moto gp games? If they havent, The physics should be great. |
Try driving a real motorbike, and then play this game..
You'll laugh 'till you piss yourself..
I hate you.

these kind of games needs stuff called PHYSICS.
physics with gravity, acceleration, inertia, body collisions... not this crap.
these game totally lacks it.
did it never occurred to u the reason this game is so smooth is because there isnt an engine beneath it?
its just an amount of textures over nothing.
even gp500 (a 6 years old game) beats this shit out.
the only reason why the people can love it is related to the multiplayer... anyway a shitty game doesnt become divine tnx to the multy... its always shitty...its just shared shit.
the worst thing is that this 3d chapter is the same as the others (shitty aswell, but that shit had a reason years ago).
if u want to see at least some physics, try gp500 with latest updates or, better, superbike 2001... older but always a good game. made with ideas, not just to do another game.

Maybe this game is so popular because ino other motorcycle racing game has graphics as good. Not saying that the graphics are all that great, but i've seen other motorbike games graphics and they suck horribly. So Ill stick with this game for now, I don't care if theres others with better physics, I just can't play a racing game that looks like it's for playstation1.
I would really like a trainer for this game..anyone found one yet?

I'm getting the same problem now. Earlier I was playing it fine, I raced a couple times and then quit. Now I try to play and when the race comes on the error keeps popping up. So fuckin frustrating, my god. It's wierd, because I didn't change any settings in anti-blaxx or daemon tools or anything.
edit:
ok i think i figured it out...you might have to mount the image onto a different drive with daemon tools, or alcohol. I think it has to be on the drive letter that you used when you installed the game. I had it mounted on F: with Alcohol, and now when i switched the drive letter to H: it works.

Ea Superbikes 2001. ????? Its that what you are refering 2.Are you kidding me? The superbike series was the worst Motorcycle games ever. The physics of the bikes are so unrealalistic. The Gfx was good, but other than that the Superbike Series sucked..Big time.
Moto GP 1 - amazing
Moto GP 2 -again amazing
And now Moto GP 3 - Cant wait to take out the RC211V My bike is based of the engineering of the RC211V.
All they need is a counter stearing controller. |
DUDE! i've been racing motorcycles since i was 4 years old, and if there is something that's among the most realistic physics ever its the physics in sbk 2001.
Lets just agree to disagree whithout starting any debate over it!
Of all the things i've lost, i miss my mind the most!

Moto GP3 URT PROPER READNFO BWClone-MiRROR
Code: |
Proper reasons
1. CLONECD released an AlcoholClone for a SecuROM protected CD
game. As true clone fans know, that's not a good format to burn
the image 1:1 hence the proper BWClone. A120 can't cut it to burn
an image of a SecuROM CD game without emulation.
2. Furthermore, there's even no RMPS data on their image

I got it running after some testing and there’s no need to install Antiblaxx. There are 2 methods and here’s what you got to do:
Method 1 – By burning CD
-burn the image with rmps to cd
-enable rmps emulation either in Daemon or Alcohol
-open regedit and search for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\THQ\MotoGP3
-Change the CDPath value to the drive that contains the cd.
-Play the game
Method 2 – By mounting image
-Get VirtualCD Hide sotware from Gamecopyworld or Gameburnworld
-Start VirtualCD Hide program, once started it will dock to your taskbar.Right click on it and select Hide All Virtual Drives.
-Go to MotoGP install folder, select motogp.exe and set the compatibility to Win2000.
-open regedit and search for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\THQ\MotoGP3
-Change the CDPath value to the drive that contains the mounted image.
-Play the game
Here’s the regedit to change the cd path(just copy in a text document and save it as bat file). It’s the CD path parameter that’s causing the “insert CD” error.
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\THQ\MotoGP3]
"CDPath"="h:\\"

Here's what I did to make it work:
1. Set all emulation ON in Daemon Tools (so the icon goes green)
2. Installed Anti-Blaxx 1.16 and replaced the exe from the archive
3. Mounted MotoGP3 image (.mds) with Daemon Tools
4. Installed the game
5. Set settings in Anti-Blaxx to this: http://tinypic.com/bhnapt.jpg
6. Run game from Anti-Blaxx (right click on the tray icon -> run game -> MotoGP3
7. Played the game!
P.S.:
1. you MUST run the game from the same Daemon drive as you installed it! (if you installed from F: , you must play from F: )
2. if you get an error message: "A required security module can not be activated. This program can not be executed." ; change properties of motogp.exe to run it in compatibility mode for Windows 2000.
Enjoy the game!

OK; the reason im asking this is becasue i havent played it yet; and would like to buy it.
The previous moto GP series were bang on for handling and i was hoping this was much of the same.
I beg to differ about superbike 2001; that game had horable physics; good graphics though, and the worst 1st person ever( The rider should look into the corners, not straight ahead. I own moto gp 1 and superbike 2001 and moto gp is far superior.
I ride a CBR1000RR which is as close as the regular person can get to a GP bike.
but ill agree with you one one thing. GP500 was amazing.

for all those still getting "emulator detected":
if you use anydvd, close it. motogp3 thinks anydvd is a cd emulator
i can run the game with dt3.47 (all options OFF) + virtual-cd-hide + anydvd closed
hope it helps

Same problem, mounted the image onto a different drive and keeps bugging me ingame, so it's impossible to play...
EDIT: Does anyone have problems with anti-blax? 1st time i used messed up all my drive letters, and now for this game can't run anyomore daemon tools. And i tried on another windows and know i can't even start that windows...

Easiest way to fix that is to edit the drive letter in the registry
Start | Run | regedit | HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\THQ\MotoGP3 |
change the CDPath to the drive letter you have it mounted on

I dont have to prove shit. LOL Ive had a yzf 600, a GSXR 750, and i have rode many Rc51s etc. Hayabusas are over rated in my opinion.
Ok here is some proof for ya.
And some more
and some more
and one more of my lid.
need anymore proof. Note: all of these have been posted in the photoshowcase by me about a month ago. I dont know why you think im BSing ya. The only thing that sucks about litre bikes it how they eat through my tires. I have a bridgestone battleaxe on the back
