my case looks so clean because i took that pic while i was building it. its probably got racoons or crows or by now. im afraid to look...

as for the overkill psu, i find that they are the only part aside from the case that can carry over from build to build, so i tend to buy them with the future in mind. this one can handle my current motherboard at max capacity (gpus/ram hdds etc), if i ever get it there $$$...and it will likely go into my next pc (allowing me to budget more money towards other parts on that build). my revo 850+ went through two of my pcs and i gave it to a friend who is still using it right now. cant say that about any other parts from that first build (im not even using that case any more, which happened to be an ammo 533 just like @Shoshomiga's franken-server above).

After looking at yours all setups, well I decided, I would do some cable management and clean up some stuff. I think I did fairly well. I also had no zip ties around so It was quite hard to achieve that, but I like it.

Long wires to the right are from fan controller which are connected to the side panel where I have 4 x 12mm or 10mm fans.

There is also missing a sound card, which I have decided to sell it.

I would just plug the fans into a fan hub or something. That link software is buggy and garbage. It'll let you clean up the cables a bit more too instead of plugging them into the pump housing.

I don't have that link software, there is another special cable for that that costs like $30. I think.

Fan hub? You mean, just get like a fan controller?

Nah, I'm not a fan of fan controllers, mostly cause my case is under the desk and don't care about the sound

http://www.overclock.net/image/id/5086183/width/900/height/900/flags/LL

those, velcro them on the back of the case. That way you don't have all these cables coming off of the motherboard or into the case. Guess it depends how much you care about the clean look.

God I hate that stuff like this is so hard to find when you live in Estonia. Ordering them online would cost me about double of their price Very Happy

Well I got those ones from NZXT since they're the only ones I can see who make the pins parallel to the board instead of sticking straight up so I can mount it behind the case without it interfering with the back panel.

Just installed an EVGA GTX 680 yesterday. I initially ordered a PNY 680 about 2 weeks ago but the PCB was ugly and blue so I used it for a few days and got rid of it and went with this one:

Its a EVGA GTX 680 Superclocked Signature 2....lol I can't say that name with a serious face. I dont really care much for the factory overclock, I only got it because I got a great deal on it and the color of the cooler was white. So did I get this card just because the color of the cooler is white? yes mainly that was the reason Laughing

This is the current state of my rig. Nothing special at the moment, my loop is currently bare bones and only cooling my CPU. Im currently shopping around for a second GTX680 and will put at least one of the GPU under water.

Last year my loop was pretty complex with my previous motherboard. It had Northbridge, Mosfet, CPU, GPU1, GPU2 all in the same loop with one 360 radiator Laughing my water would get warm. Also I should mention the two GPUs were GTX480s. Anyways this year I will do a mix of air and water cooling since I noticed air cooled GTX680 is much cooler than air cooled GTX480

Laughing

The thing literally used to warm up the water and CPU since they shared the same water. Whenever I felt the tubes, they would be warm, I was like wtf

Here is a look back at how my loop has changed:

Im gonna save myself from having to deal with that much trouble ever again. Im planning to keep my motherboard permanently on air Laughing

Thanks Smile

However I sold it this week. No matter how quiet the fan was, I just can't seem to get used to the idea of an air cooled GPU. I decided I will go with hydro copper cards. So at the moment Im using a Geforce 9600GSO Laughing

I love the way EVGA hydro copper blocks look. And to be honest, any GPU waterblock is fine because GPU temps are never critical like CPU temps

Image from google:

By the way, resale value of hydro copper cards are the among the highest

I regret buying non-modular PSU. Such a mess.

Yeah my current one is non modular when i had a modular one in my previous PC. It's crazy how a modular PS makes cable management a breeze compared to a non modular one.

Reason i got a non modular this time was because of a sick rebate on a 850w. In retrospective i should have paid a bit more to get a corsair modular. Not that my 850w doesn't work well , in fact it's been absolutely top notch but modular is worth it just for the cable management aspect (if you're into that of course)

Reference GTX 780 looks sexy :> They should have put some sort of a RGB led to it, so you could change color of the Geforce text (it glows green now).

@Breezer_ Does the red colour of your LED on your H100i look duller than blue or green when they are on maximum? Just wondering as mine does. I know that it can go brighter on red as I've seen it happen a few times when playing around with the colours, but then alter another colour and it goes dim Sad

And some pics of my new system..

The LED's on the new "i" series corsair's are crap. There's been a CONSTANT problem with them dulling out and dying period. I know a few people who can only do red now.
