Spoiler:
so Gendry gets his own story as Stannis captured bastard, in the book it was someone else (Edric Storm)
Jamie got crippled, the incestuous dickface got killed (seeing how the Lord Commander stood up for him also helped me to get over his death pretty quickly), and of course the ending.
Oh my god, that ending was one of the most epic moments outisde the silver screen.
Oh, forgot to add:
Spoiler:
That little pipsqueak Greyjoy having tasted hope and having it squashed was also a satisfying moment.
So judging from the synopsis posted, we will see the red wedding in episode 5? Wow, that is quick. I thought it will be this season's finale. Too bad we will have to wait till episode 8 to see the other wedding.

Spoiler:
No, Gendry is King Robert's bastard, so he's got Stannis' blood and that's why Melisandre needs him.

Not quite.
Spoiler:
The RW will be episode 9. The wedding in episode 8 will either be Joffrey & Margaery or Tyrion & Sansa.
It was pretty obvious daenerys wouldnt part with one of her dragons and the slaver was basically a real prick to justify him getting killed. That said this is my favorite show now that spartacus has ended.
Dont mess with God, he can impregnate your girlfriend/wife without taking his pants off!
The main event is close, after that it'll get very stale (if they follow the books). I fear for the next season.
Spoiler:
The next season will be based on the second half of book 3 which is full of awesome events, like the fight with the Red Viper (my fav character). What I'm worried about is season 5.
It's obvious that if it really gets stale soon they won't follow the books with complete fidelity. They will probably step on the gas and skip some parts like it's common when adapting from books to visual media.
