bought it all on steam over xmas.. Already had the base game when it came out. All the other content came to 10 bux... I'd wait for another sale, I have not seen a release for gold either.

^^ pretty much sums it up, and I have it all.. I think I only have like 25 hours in the game lol. In fact, since I bought all the contet @ xmas, I have not even played it, and here we are in middle of April...

Well, I've spent hundreds of hours with Rome and Medieval 2 each. Around 60-70 with Empire. Plus I really loved the first Shogun game.
I'm going to get the gold edition once I have saved up enough money to buy a decent VGA. And I hope it is soon because I'm itching for some samurai action.

I am not able to find the latest patch for this game.
Total.War.Shogun.2.Fall.of.the.Samurai-SKIDROW is somewhat up to date but I doubt Darthmod will work as intended unless I have the latest patch installed. Under what name is it released?
I only played the vanilla at the time when it came out but would really like to try out both of the additional campaigns and Darthmod before Rome II comes along.

5918 is the current build if that's helpful.
v1.1.0 build 5918.363609 is the complete string, I checked it a minute ago. Don't know if there's a scene/p2p release.

so, finally got this in the last sale (this now completes my total war collection .. except shogun 1 and medieval 1 obviously).
But ...
Now i installed darth mod (that was a nobrainer thing to do imho).
But the game is freaking unfair lol.
I mean, i start and one clan after another declares war on me. I get attacked by several clans with full stacks and i hardly have the gold to upkeed 3/4 stacked army lol.
And they just keep coming and coming (i can't even move away from my castle without getting attacked the same round rofl).
Is this freaking normal or am i missing something ?

I don't knwo how far you have gotten but one of the big complaints about this game was the realm split that occurs, which basically makes the whole map attack you when you get too powerful, even your allies get a big reduction in how much they like you and may attack you. Although I do believe there are some mods to remove this.

I wouldn't use darthmod anymore, it's simply too depreciated, particularly for the original Shogun 2.
It also trivializes diplomacy to the point where it's effortless to maintain relations with every clan on the map.
The battle changes aren't too bad, but the strategic changes just have problems everywhere.
