I was big on winamp for many many years, switched over to foobar about a year ago and never looked back.

It's simple, small, does what I need.

I love 8tracks, only fucked up thing is the non-skip shit. But I mostly only use music as background noise on the computer.

+1 on vlc though... That shit eats everything, even rar files xD

Winamp produces too "metalic" sound for me (not in terms of sounding like heavy metal, but being thin on sound color), I prefer foobar.
