Far Cry 3:Blood Dragon
Is Black Ops 2 worth a shot? When it came out, I played it to level where you had to command your troops and stuff to protect some facility. Gave up then. Will it get any better after that?

i thought black ops was pretty enjoyable... i mean its not mw1 or 2, but its still a pretty nice trip, especially the future missions. the stuff set in the past makes up for it by being fucking hilarious though.

those 'command' bits are optional... theyre side mission kinda stuff, you can ignore them.

as for me, im playing crysis 3.

actually not enjoying it as much as i had hoped i would. so far its worse than crysis 2, gameplay, "story", setting and level-wise.

fucking beautiful looking game though.

last night i was looking for my last year+ games on the waiting list to play, and i tried few space combat arcades and some air combat arcades and i found out that dogfight 1942 is fun,i played it for 2 hours i guess and i forced my self to stop cause there were some other things i had to do.
so,if you feel like simple and fun wwII arcade air combat with wingman's (btw, there is a very simple landing and taking-off options too:)
also it is single player only.

Finished up ep3 of Tyranny of King Washington DLC for AC3, overall the whole thing was good but the last one felt a little bit short to me.

Now finally working on Far Cry 3 for the first time, after all the patches/driver updates & tweaks the game is now running beautifully. Taking my time with this one exploring around, doing all the side missions, very fun experience so far Smile

Started playing SMITE. Played one or two matches long time ago, but it seems that they changed it enough to keep me interested. I'm usually pretty horrible at moba games, but this one I really dig. Also, played the new DnD Neverwinter MMO. I like that too so far, good clean fun in a party.

+1 the diplomacy system is what civ 5 should have been... completely obliterrated by a game more than 13 years old.

I've been hitting rarer genres lately. Dead Island Riptide got boring within the hour.. maybe I'll re-visit it later.

Last month:
Nascar 2003, still unbeaten in its class.
Warframe, mostly just a bit of coop here and there.
Silent hunter IV, modded I now prefer this over SH3+GWX.
World of Xeen, someday I will get more than an hour into this.
Farming Simulator 2013, coop and modding.
Exodus Guilty, VN played using a DVD player.

This month:
Monaco, just waiting on the editor.

Steel Fury 1943: Kharkov, felt like playing a tank simulator?
It's a bit arcane but there doesn't seem to be anything superior to it. Also pretty fun but from time to time I am left wondering why I died. It's disappointing Graviteam is not allowing players to command a personal tank in their latest titles because they look so much more interesting.

Things I need to get around to playing:
Vanquish.
Carnage Heart EXA.
Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen. I skipped the original in favor of waiting for this version.

Playing far cry 3 with ziggys hardocre mod on my new shiny gtx 660. Very Happy

the vanilla game is waaay too casual for my tastes but once again, modders save the day.

before that, i've completed tomb raider (the game that killed my old gpu and left me without a pc for 2 weeks ) and dead space 3.

tomb raider was a bit meh gameplay wise, but the experience was decent enough to deal with the cinematic casualitis.

dead space 3 was awesome and above the expectations set by users and reviews i've seen. the dlc is not worth it at all though. just watch the dlc ending on yt, but do not spend money on it. its 30 mins of content... Very Happy

I've also completed several oldies. broken sword 3 and 4, incubation (fucking amazing oldie) and road rash 3d, the only game that worked on the broken gpu(huge rainbow lines over the screen didnt bother me that much). Laughing

farcry 3
crysis 3
bioshock infinite
dark souls
resident evil 6
rip tide
have hardly touched the company of heroes 2 beta that came with the pre-order too.

One game I have found time to play recently is the fire emblem awakenings for the nintendo handheld, and thats only because I can play it in bed before falling asleep at night, only to wake up in the mornings to find i've been using the 3ds as a pillow.
