Death to Spies 3 is a new chapter in the thrilling story about an invisible war behind enemy lines. Once again players will meet Captain Strogov from the 4th department of the Soviet counterintelligence service named SMERSH.

Two new playable characters – Strogov’s comrades: Viktor Kovalev and Olga Godunova-Lopes, each with unique skills and abilities, will help him defeat the enemy. The storyline brings players to different cities in North America, Cuba and Europe.
Key Features:
* Brand new engine with support for the latest graphic technologies
* New period setting - Cold War
* Travel across the globe including North America, Cuba and Europe
* Three playable characters with different skills and abilities
* Manually switch between characters at any time
* New special abilities to eliminate enemies
* New high-tech gadgets
* Spy sense – a special game mode to aid in making tactical decisions
* Different mini-games such as lock-picking, poisoning beverages, etc.

I really liked Death to Spies and Moment of Truth for being hardcore stealth games with huge levels and a pretty decent AI. The Cold War setting is an interesting change, not to mention playing with three spies at the same time, just like in Commandos.

Except for the hideous derp_mode purposely created for the console audience the game looks definitely more "traditional" than Absolution..

My company has started work on such a game, but we put it on hold, too few people, and I basically don't have the capital to back an 18 month product cycle - so we stick to making custom software, websites and graphical design.
Later on if I have money though ...

I backed it of course. | developing games for XBOX is more costly then for PC , those licensing fees are a KILLER

....Death to Spies 3, a title that was meant to hit PC and X360. According to the devs, their publisher ‘kicked’ them, therefore they had to resort to an IndieGoGo campaign......

Yeah their plans are quite desperate at the moment, but I hope they succeed, these games were damn good!
(Apparently the 360 release will happen only if they surpass the $100k mark.)
