See this post here is what we call not constructive. Why do you think dungeons are shit ? Where they shit because you felt they did not provide sufficant rewards for your time effort ? Please elaborate...

I dont see the need to plow to level 60 in this game for the simple fact there is no end game in the traditional mmo sense. Your end game is the foundry. I haven't done any of them yet as i'm saving that experience for the end as there are plenty of quests, dungeons, skirmishes to complete before 60.

I personally have had alot of fun in the dungeons they are interesting fun slaughter fests. Cosmetically the layouts and visuals are very nice. Skirmishes are also alot of fun they are like dungeons except you fight waves of monsters kind of like that game mode in dawn of war.

they are shit cause they take to long to queue for, shitty rewards (barely any xp and almost no good drops) and if you get a real pug of noobs you wont even be able to finish it

yes, id think most people on these forums in mmos tend to just rush to endgame

anyway to me the dungeons felt like a epic waste of time.

Thanks for putting in more meat into your opinions it helps to understand the why. I agree the loot is a bit underwhelming but I haven't had the bad pug experience yet for dungeons but pvp is another story. queue's can take a while agreed especially if you are dps as they are a dime a dozen. But it's not like there isn't plenty to do while you wait. They need to improve the itemization or at least have 2 drops on the last boss instead of 1 single piece... that is a bit dated way of doing things.

They just nerfed the foundry farming for ogres / mass enemies. They now give much less or no exp at all Surprised

Hopefully they add a real end game. I mean, being a D&D game, I expect lots of dungeons and dragons. The Foundry is a great idea if they can do it right. It should be a viable way to earn exp, gold, loot, etc., but they need to fix the exploits so that it can't be abused. The key to long-term success for this game will be highly determined by if they can get the foundry features working correctly and actually worth doing.

the joy of hitting mad dragon instance >_<

5/5 attempts failed cause people has shit dps cause of no gemming trying to save AD, adds running wild few minutes into the fight

lats run i did 1.8mil dmg and nr2 did 750k... rest sub 500, fuckin annoying

to quote some official forum users "i dont plan to gem til endlevel" "theres no reason to gem since you change gear so often" was both responses to a thread about gemming being retardedly expensive at early levels

From a rational perspective: you should not gem you're items as longs as you're gear is good enough to progress, AD keeps it's value untill endgame so gemming is a waste.
BTW, I think the average skill level of players is is a bigger factor then their gear for failing a dungeon, I consider a group that stays together as a good one, never seen a player that knows how to heal or tank.

It's free2play. What did you expect? Most people in pay2play MMORPGs are already horrible.. do the math.

GWF? Gay White Female? Guy With Feelings? Not joking. No idea what you mean.

I made a healer, and wonder if they have any use later on.

Met a ~lvl50 GWF in the Chasm yesterday, and he easily took out 2 groups of mobs in the time it took my CW to take down one several times - so I'd guess their wtfpwn abilities come pretty late. Or he was just having an insane crit-streak ^_^

I reluctantly started playing Neverwinter, and it is of course a complete WoW-clone thus far, but there is enough to entertain me right now to play it a bit further.

Why they deviated from the original material so much, I don't know. But as a D&D fan I try to suspend that notion and try the experience.

I'm glad it's free, because had I paid for this I'd be whining like an American at a European gas station.

Well, i really hope they gonna fix performance, but since this is PFW we are talking about i doubt it...

getting vram fluctuation that is insane, even worse then BS:I when my card is full on memory, yet this game isn't maxing out my vram...
Talking to NPC's seem to dump the UI vram and reload it, EVERY GODDAMN TIME..

Plus getting random framerate drops, and get stuck on 30 fps (no vsync), only way to get back is to alt-tab and go back...

Like here, got stuck on 30 and didn't go back. ~15% CPU usage, 30 and 35% on GPU's... yet it won't go back to 60 unless i alt-tab...

PvP is actually not half bad. I never really got why people did PvP without getting all or most of the other dude's loot, but this was a little like the good old days of Unreal Tournament, medieval style. I basically did what I always do in such games, and stuck with my team. And in my first match I scored most of both teams (and my team won) ... 47 glory points, whatever that means.

I long ago gave up the notion for this to be a game with a good story and good characters that got me into BG, BGII, etc. - if you look at this like another fantasy game loosely based on the RPG, you'll still have fun playing it. You definitely do NOT need to pay for it to make it NOT a chore, like with SWTOR, and you can ALWAYS pretty much get the same shit others do who pay for it by just playing it normally.

I started getting into professions today, and the whole idea of NOT having to go "mine" or "gather" shit, but hiring someone to do it for you (NPC) is very nice. It takes some time, but that is time that you can do something fun yourself with.

I also did my first player made quest today, and boy did that suck. Terrible spelling and grammar, "half-naked" ladies in distress everywhere, cheesy encounters and terrible dialogue. And it was rated 4,5 stars out of 5. I got a lot of experience and good loot from it though. I will definitely get into making one of my own later. Getting 4,5 stars will apparently be a picnic.

Hook me up, I'm "Solem Waverider" on "Beholder".
