I has been out for over a month here in Europe ... It has a good plot, but it's way too short and sometimes really easy.

Dont know why everyone think this was a great adventuregame. Ive played the english version that was just released.
I found the voiceacting to be poor, the subtitling was sometimes wrong, and the puzzles were laughable easy. The only puzzle i didnt solve in 3 minutes, were the one where you had to rotate the circles to get all the right colours in place. That took me almost 6 minutes.
And i dont consider me a genious lol. But ive been playing adventure games since the late 80's (textbased ones). So i guess i remember how a great adventure game should look and feel like.
As for the story, that was pure tripe. You are the choosen one (cliche 1), set out to discover an ancient Mayan ( cliche 2), alien (cliche 3) mystery. You will face a scientist (cliche 4) and a violent person (cliche 5) that wants to use this ancient mayan/alien artefact for profit (lol).
The only good thing this game had going for it, was the nice graphics, and rather well done animation. The cutscenes were horrible tho, with lots of product placement for some travel website.

The tallyho walkthrough posted earlier is for the German version of the game. The English walkthrough is better to use (more complete for the RLD release).

all the puzzles were easy, and the game was way too short.
I have to say this was the first adventure that i seriously tried and want to try some more challenging and longer ones. What do the adventure veterans recommend? Myst?

Have to agree that this one is too short and too easy.
For good adventures i can recommend some good oldschool (mostly comic style) ones:
Sam & Max
Day of the tentacle
Monkey island
Baphomets Fluch (Only know the german title)

There are too many adventure games to list that have come out over the years. The genre has been around for quite a while.
I'd say your best bet is to use the Twisty List for adventure-game recommendations by adventure-game enthusiasts. You will want to read the long post by flotsam.
