First 30 minutes in this are like the first 30 minutes in all other Codemaster racing games I presume? Tutorials with hand-holding even in menus like you're some 2 year old retarded child.
Why we always should start as some prick who can afford only junk piece of trash car? Why we don't start as rich piece of shit who can buy any car he wants? Just for once..
In every game these days we are doomed to play as the retard who starts as nothing and "must earn his respect".. this is bullshit. I miss the old days of DooM and Quake etc, where we were THE FUCKING GUY! We were the fucking guy who kick ass, takes names, have fun and thats it.
But no, ofc not. In the CoD gen we are MEANT to be a retard who can't proceed without hand holding from his paedophile dad (EA/Craptivision etc.) every 2 sec.
And its the same in GRiD2 .. (what a surprise isn't it)

The Season Mode in F1 2012 was shocking, you fire up the game and then you just sit there, with that virtual "expert" dude who teaches you the meaning of throttle and brake.
LOL! Their 2 tier award is Grid 1? Are you kidding me? They stopped the servers for PC (and PS3) and now they are giving it for free if pay for GRID 2? Hhahahaha nice one Lamemasters

Yes, I know. That was my first experience with their F1 series I think. So terrible. I don't think I even finished the "tutorial" and I quit to uninstall the "game".
so the final price for this at my retail store is 25$ region free; anybody want a steamkey at that price? im gonna preorder it on monday or tuesday for me, so if anyone wants it, just pm me or talk to me on steam (ofc will need the money in advance )
edit as dlc bonus you get this MCLAREN RACING Pack
Pretty much what i said when i viewed the video...who's dumb idea was it to use generic "pickup trucks" for the overtake races? That's gotta be the dumbest switch in a racing game ever.....why not just use the traditional way of overtake races when you have to overtake other similar type racing cars? Bizarre!

I just received a very funny email. Here are a few parts of it. Oh and..it's official.
Note: I did NOT highlight, bold or italic anything, it actually looks like this.
Spoiler:
And I fucking knew it. All these assholes who can't drive worth shit as we could already see in videos while they call it awesome will probably slap an 8-9/10 and say the only thing missing is the cockpit view to try and keep some trust by expressing that they "care".
It doesn't seem like a bad game, but it's certainly not as awesome as their advertising operation.

That's a pretty impressive list of tracks for a racing game i must admit. I just hope the game plays close to what the original GRID game played...it was a great game that reminded me alot of Project Gothem Racing...i hope that same feel and excitement is there with GRID 2.
The GRID series has always been more of an arcade experience rather than a simulation...heck they even made a GRID Arcade game that is currently still in ARCADES if you can find an ARCADE these days...there is one near my house that has a GRID arcade game so that pretty much proves GRID is more of a arcade racer so anyone bashing it as a weak simulator racer, etc really shouldnt be because the GRID series is not really a sim type racer...far from it honestly. IF the dev's are trying to tout GRID as a sim..they are bonkers, just pure PR Lies if they are trying to say GRID2 is a simulation game..which i think i read a comment from one of the dev's stating it was a mixture of sim and arcade...which even that is not true..its a pure arcade racer, period
The arcade board in this machine is actually made of PC parts called Sega Europa-R which was used for Sega Rally 3 Arcade Machine and GRID Arcade Machine, i believe if my memory serves me right..it uses a 8800 GTS, 8GB of DDR2 Ram and some type of Intel Dual Core CPU..of course all these parts are modified versions of their consumer counterparts..sorta like the original xbox console had pure pc parts with very little modifications inside the original xbox..unlike the xbox 360 which does not use off the shelf parts..but more customized AMD GPU chip, etc ..
Here is a link to a Youtube video of the GRID arcade machine

Fooking Codemasters. First Grid was a pretty good game, and this looks like total downgrade. Dirt series is already a garbage and now this pfff.
ps.i hope they'll include some gymkhabanaana in it .
