Only heard about this game today. Saw a thing on Gamespot and it sounded cool. Dled the demo was blown away. Awesomely cool concept and execution. The mouse movements dont bother me at all because I am so used to them in Opera (the browser). Once you use them for a bit they become second nature. The whole presentation just screams cool.

Quote: | Inevitably, though, Fahrenheit is going to come under intense scrutiny from those looking to pick holes over whether the plot really is a rubber band that stretches to fit the actions of the player. To that, we'd have to accept that it's not perhaps as significant as it initially appeared to be, but that the subtle choices you make always seems to crop up when you least expect them to. They may not change the overall story arc (for that would prove to be a vastly ambitious undertaking), but they do make a difference to specific parts of the scenes later on - and that in itself is a gratifying advancement with huge potential. |
Overall the review is very positive. I'm sold.

I'd say there are really 3 options after the murder.
1. Panic and just run out as fast as you can, ignoring everyone and making it obvious to the cop who is the murderer.
2. Clean up quickly, and get out as fast as you can, although the cops will still be alerted eventually.
3. Be really calm and collected, clean up really thoroughly, and make yourself presentable. Go out, finish your meal and pay the bill, while walking out slowly. Take a nice stoll over to a cab. The cops will never know!
Then there are all the small variations of these 3.
For example, the first time I did no. 2 but I thought that I could escape through the window. When the cop came to the toilet, I quickly jumped for the window and found it barred! Busted! |
I figured out about 9 of them

Well I don't really consider the decision whether or not to hide the knife or any of the other options as small as this to be true variations.

ewll i tried it in several ways, if you dont hide the knife i would think its easier work for you when you play as the female police officer, but who knows.

Oh yeah, the review above didn't like that either. Seems to be a sore point.

the demo kicks ass, if the retail keeps the same level as demo, its a must buy for me atleast...
hey anyone know if its possible to get rid of all the blood? (not just the blood after the stabbing) for some reason the cop always find the dead person, i would love to be able to have to cop go in there take a leak and and go back and finish his coffee. =)
ooh well.. cant wait for this game.

If you would bother to understand english the goverment would not force the devs to translate it to german.

Got a medium rating in the german PC-Magazin. To make it short. The beginning of the game is very good, but the longer you play the game, more shittier the game will be. Will try it anyway, but i dont think it will be something special.

bullshit. Why should the whole world speak English?
They should develop the translations together with the game development.

BAH! why not? i mean its not like the rest of the world gets the game with theirown translation. why should you be any diffrent? and god forbid if we start getting swedish text/speech in games, that would truely suck!
