XBOX games dont get compressed well because of how the discs are filled with dummy files. Notice that non JTAG RIP are always 7 gigs or 8 gigs (depending if XGD2 or XGD3), even if the game is actually worth of 100MB of data.

I think it's because the PS3 version has all languages, including japanese and eastern europe ones. But, maybe XBOX360 version does too ? If so, then yeah I guess PS3 version has less compressed assets.
But I think it's related to the languages...

PS3 games hardly ever have any padding since ripping them that way removes any padding. If it's bigger it's either uncompressed assets (videos, whatever), or more languages.
