So erm... i tried RE6 a while ago and uninstalled it 5 minutes later because it was one of the most ugly games ive played in a long time.. and 90% of everything was a quick event button mashing.

Is this thing better ?

It looks worse but the game itself is better, not quite on par with the early RE games however. Smile
(Feels very similar to Resident Evil 4 but not quite on the same level.)

Some enemies apparently have something but I don't know how that works, there is a achievement for dodging a certain enemy's one-hit-kill attack as well. Smile

you can dodge enemies the easiest way by simply pressing up at the right moment while getting attacked, i noticed it works easier while youre aiming.

I can choose up to 1920x1200 (Some can only get 1920x1080 and max appears to be locked to 1920x1440 for now which has annoyed quite a number of people.) but the aspect ratio much like in the demo had defaulted to 16:9 so I had to change that (16:10) to get rid of some small black bars. Smile

Also scoured the exe for any other commands to add to the config file and restored it slightly but there's no visual difference, AA (MSAA, not the shader FXAA stuff.) is likely deactivated just as with RE6 and the other commands probably do nothing or as in the case of changing HDR mode break the game.

well I have old LCD... only 1440x900, but there is no option for this resolution, and config editing gives me crash after the start screen...

You were right, it does skip the 1440x900 resolution and goes to 1600x1200 (And then 1680x1050), before that there's 1360x768

I'm saving 120hz in the game's options,but once i leave the game,the settings are back to 60hz...

My BenQ monitor's always set to 120hz

Is there a way to fix this?

You could try to edit the refresh rate in the config (stored in appdata/local/capcom) then set it to 'read-only'.

Shoot them in the mouth when they rise up, they'll twitch which means you hit a sensitive area, most enemies should have that and it will kill them far faster. Very Happy
(IE you don't always aim for the head of the creature.)

Resident Evil. is dead! its not even about zombies anymore! its all mutants. its like dead space now(without the fear factor). back in the good ole days of re 1-2 you had to fight the zombies then you would fight a big ass mutant Razz like the Tyrant or nemesis. now its all shoot blob on the beach and mutant(dead space creature)rip off. and that's the first level.
atleast in re6 they had some zombies atleast! here we are with the new version now I have to scan for shit to see it wtf! scan for health scan for ammo scan for bonus shit omg! so im guessing the T virus has evolved so much you don't turn into a zombie anymore you just grow 10ft tall and grow funky shit all over your body. or you turn into a 4000 lb blob and suntan on the beach lol.

lets just call the game GENE SLPICE!

Depends if you ask people who actually played it or people who never played it but fell for the hype.

I borrowed this along with a 3DS from a friend and quicky realized it's garbage. The controls on the 3DS was a joke and the whole scanning every inch of the screen was just pathetic bulllcrap. Also the game is just as actiony and full of ammo as RE6

The only thing this game beats RE6 on is the fact that it's not just one long corridor but that there is sections where you spend some time running back and forth finding keys and such but thats also the only thing.

What part of this game is old school? I played through RE1 DC just two days ago and nothing in Revelations resembles the older games
