Yeah same here. Still more inclined to go with the ps4 than xbox one.
We'll see at E3, where I hope to see both sides to deliver more for the hardcore audience, thus more games and less social/tv crap.

nah, the ps4 reveal was the lamest. At least theyve shown the hardware. The new controller looks nice.

If someone asked me today which one would you choose..I would say PS4 , at least I know what exclusives they have + new ones..
But I need to see more and then I'll decide , Im plannig to give moneh for one new console and a gaming PC..

They showed you a box and superficially talked about specs. Sony showed you games running on that thing, had an in depth presentation of the specs and showed/talked about games.

So let me get this straight: the main feature of the new xbox is that you can watch TV on it? 'Cos that's ALL they talked about.

And they only showed what you can watch if you live in the states, I cant even watch a HBO trailer here on youtube let alone give a shit about american sports.(no offence to their fans).
For a worldwide reveal they seem to care only for one audience and it doesn't seem to be a gamer audience.
Also found it strange that the presenter had to keep walking back in front on the xbox to issue vice commands

I didn't follow the PS4 announcement, so I'll ask. Does the PS4 have he same "activate game via inet" bullshit also? I assume Sony did it too since I dount MS does it because they want it (most likely forced by publishers).
So instead of countering the asshole used game sellers, who basically rip off consumers, MS wants to rip-off consumers?

Where did you get that info from? Didn't don mattick say to keighley specifically that you only need online for streaming content and multiplayer at the beginning of the after show?
And except for the sports stuff, which features are inapplicable outside murica?

Nope, the PS4 doesn't block used game sales and doesn't have net requirement.

It's common knowledge now, with the followups after the show. Yankbox One requires a net connection, though you can carry on playing if the line drops.

It's not "always on", but it does require a net connection - which likely translates to "you need a net connection to access the Yankbox One and to load games, but if your line drops then you can still keep playing"

Wait a minute, it ties the disk serial number to the xbox live account, and you have to pay to play the disk on another xbox live account?
Didn't EA just get some good press for stating that Fifa 14 and BF4 won't require you to use serial numbers / pay to play online. "we've listened to our gamers"
Do they think we're fucking stupid?
I really hope Sony don't follow suit, but I suspect they'll have to do due publisher pressure.
