Looks like next gen is gonna end it for ms and maybe sony pending on the price... and hopefully EA will die. It's gonna suck for all the employees, but EA is really taking gaming development down to a whole new level of bullshit.

I think it was ingame at some parts and to be honest, it didn't even look amazing. The EA stuff was pure CGI though.

They've likely used some assets and mounted them together with CGI stuff to make everything look cinematic and give you real goosebumps..which didn't happen anyway

forza5 looked in-game to me, minus close up tire debris shot, that looked much more detailed than the rest of footage, probably used high detail cinematic mode that now also takes videos not just screenshot.
but the rest looked totally ingame, not even that great, so not sure what sabin1981 is raving about...

Every game they have showed doesn't bring anything new or innovative into the respective genres. Just better (well for consoles) graphics. Still every game will have to be developed with gamepad and statistical console gamer in mind.
The infamous Forza 5 shows only better graphics, if they are ingame graphics of course.
How next batch of FIFA, NFL, COD and Forza can define a new generation of "something"? No innovation, nothing... Just usual cash ins.

Yup, and even if it's completely real-time with no fake enhancements at all (I doubt it, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt) it doesn't look much better than PCars played at max details.  |

Bullshit. If I want to run ANY of my games on ANYONE else's machines, I simply put the disc in the tray and play. If it's a Steam game, I log into Steam and download. If it's an Origin game, likewise. If it's a UPlay game, likewise. If it's a GfWL title, likewise.
It's not comparable with this Yankbox One bullshit AT ALL.
You're right in that I can't sell my Steam titles, but that's because this is a Steam service. Yankbox One isn't a service, it's a console with a drive that accepts media discs, only now that disc is worthless once you've installed the title once. You can't take that disc to a friend's house, you can't sell that disc, it becomes a worthless piece of plastic. All my existing disc-based PC titles are still playable.
