probably the only game where the metascore and user score are the same and above 95, if this doesnt scream "must play" then nothing does Smile

it is also one of the longest survival-horror/action-adventure games ever, oozing with quality throughout the whole game.

WTF Surprised Lowest score by reviewers are 88/100... thats pretty amazing.

I was expecting to receive my pre-order tomorrow but got it today, a whole two days early before retail. Unfortunately I havent finished Metro: Last Light yet so havent played it. I also pre-ordered the Limited Edition with DLC but they sent me the standard version! It even said DLC on my invoice! GRRR.

Not sure if you are speaking about Metro or RER, but both games are the same disc, standard or not. The DLC are just extra vouchers, you don't need a special disc to use them.
So just ask them for the vouchers and there you have your Limited Edition Smile

You're right but I have seen a box with mention of the DLC on the front. Mine did not include it nor did it include the redeem code in the box either. Shopto.net who I ordered from e-mailed me the code to obtain the DLC Smile

They gave it 8.5 on 3ds and 6.5 on consoles? Seems legit. Their whole rant seems to be about it not being scary. While true neither was RE4 even though it was the best game in the series. It hasn't been scary since RE3 Nemesis IMO. 5 and 6 sure as hell weren't scary either or great games.


I thought Revelations was a pretty good game though I agree with the 8.5 score for it that it gave the 3ds one. Not sure why it would be a worse score on consoles.

BTW not sure if it'll be different but that's the Wii U version review they dont have PS3 or 360 on the site yet.

I don't get the ''Too much backtracking'' complaint. He sure is not playing older RE games. Very Happy

Otrher than that, review seems to be spot-on. Revelations probably has the worst design of enemies/bosses in RE game.
