I really enjoy this game, all the CoJs were so brilliant (lets just pretend #3 never existed). The music, the narration, the voice actors. It's all just so well done.
I would like to have some way of changing the FoV though, and it seems there are some graphics settings in "AppData\Local\techland\cojgunslinger\out\Settings\Video.scr" like FXAA and apparently also shaderpath 4.0 available with 3.0 being default, but the settings there are never used by the game and get constantly overwritten :/

good to hear that it is that good:) i will have to finish last light first...can't open to many cases at the same time, but after the metro and after what you said,i will play this one. |

The game has several problems at the moment (black 'comic' bars everywhere, fixed consolish FOV, jittery mouse&kb controls...just like in Dead Island), but it's surprisingly entertaining.
It's 100% linear and over-the-top, but despite the arcade style with bullets flying around and frequent slow-mo's, shooting feels satisfying and the story/characters/dialogue are pretty good as well. It's different than CoJ 1 and 2 though, so I wouldn't call it a proper sequel, it's more like a spin-off that doesn't take itself too seriously, but it's fun.

I just played a bit, it felt really fun and satisfying. The story and characters are cool as well.
How many chapters are there in the game?

Is there any way to adjust the brightness after the first time it asks? I accidentally made it too dark and cant find any brightness option in the menu.

oh...come on guys...stop saying good things about this game already!
i still have to finish metro last light and i don't want to start this befor i finish the metro 
(i love the metro alot too)  i hope i will finish it this weekend.

If anyone wants to play this on Win XP get the 3DM crack from game copy world, works perfectly.

After Red Dead, this game isn't all that great.....walk along, head shoot just about everyone. Reload, do same.

you cant compare digital only B arcade shooter with AAA openworld RD:Redemtion . Not sure about RD:Revoler.

damn awesome game, ill start it again on ng+ since it was so addictive 
I just CANNOT play a game with those fucking black bars, I just HATE them.
But I tried it and yes, it's really fun to play
