Hah, what a great game, reminds me of the old Outlaws from LucasArts. I wonder what the story behind it being a low priced title is. If that pile of shit The Cartel was fullprice, this one deserved it at well.

Edit: finished it one sitting, i loved it. took me 5-6 hours on normal.

I think this game sort of feels like a first-person Sunset Riders combined with the music and enemy taunts of Outlaws.

I guess I'm the only one that found this game nauseatingly repetitive. I had fun for for the first two hours or so - but after that it was just whack'a'mole with some senile old fuck lying up a story. Very Happy

No...you're not the only one. I don't get the great praises for this game. I'm bored silly.
This is nothing like the Call of Juarez 1 or 2 games (forget about 3). It's more like an
arcade derivative of Call of Juarez. Where the $#%& is my horse? Rolling Eyes

It is meant to be a arcade game though, one of those XBox LIVE / PlayStation Network downloadable games, not quite the same scope or amount of content, unsure how to compare it better. Smile

There will probably be a sale, maybe Ubisoft will bundle the entire Juarez catalog (Thus selling more Cartel copies?) as well, 9$ or lower (Unsure what it would sell for if offered during the summer sale period.) is a even better price than the current 15$ for this game. Smile
(But both are better than the 49 ~ 59$ price that tends to be the standard for games these days.)

I agree. Also a good thing with this one is that it isn't Uplay so you can find cheap steam keys in the usual sites.

I loved it for an hour or maybe a bit more. Loved the narration style and the gunfights in general. BUT after that the whole thing became really repetitive, there's no reason to use anything else but the rifle, head shots are really easy, duels are really easy and the whole thing gets a bit silly the more you go forward.

The story is so basic you can figure it out in the first 10 minutes and is pointless.

It was obviously made for the console since everything is so much easier with the mouse.

I tried dual revolvers but they just suck at range. I used them in some of the more closecombat maps, but still rifle and headshot rules.

Well, I saw people complain about too low FOV, I think?

In this case TB used the available hacks (I assume) and made it way too high IMO Razz

Or maybe his monitor is a lot bigger than you think Very Happy

Looks fine to me. 95-110 is m preference and it doesn't look that wide in the video.

He is really going crazy with fov lately... every wtf video he dos, he brag about fov for liek 10 minutes and then set it in ini to like 110 and have huge fisheye and weapon leaping forward like player have 5meters long hands Laughing

Default fov myght be too low for some ppl but anything above 90 in this case is a bit too weird Laughing
