You don't actually have to play the game though right? You can probably just leave the game running in the menu screen and it'll drop cards.
I apologise for this dumb question in advance but, I have 4 HL2 cards, if I trade them away for the other 4 that I need, will that mean I can't make a full badge because I've obviously given away the 4 that I already obtained?
In other words, do you have to have all 8 cards in your Inventory in order to get a badge?
