Nah. In the end FC2 was better than FC3 for me. I found myself wanting to reinstall FC2 while playing FC3, and especially after finishing the main story which was for me one of the redeeming aspects of the game.

FC2 was a terrible game, but I can't say I really like FC3. FC1 is still the best FC made.

I liked the setting and the somewhat varied environments but the missions got very repetitive even early on in the game.
(It can still be improved further.)

The only FC I liked was the first one. 2 one was terrible and boring, 3rd one was kinda boring as well and I just couldn't get myself to keep playing.

Yeah that was precisely the main problem of the game. I already said it once, they managed to build such a fantastic world, but then didn't manage to take advantage of that and properly fill it with stuff to do.

Hmmm yeah by a bit. The difference is, I was ultra hyped about FC3, pre-ordered it on Steam ($60) and in the end it was my worst purchase of 2012. Dead Island I initially pirated it, but it became the nice surprise of 2011 for me (and eventually bought it). I was expecting shit, but in the end (and with all its problems) I enjoyed it a lot.
