You pick your players for the whole season, its like their your team. You can make trades and such as well. I believe you can even offer points with players, sorta like giving money with players, I remember someone telling me they did that last year, requires one of the different types though. |
Yuh, i was reading a bit more about the Yahoo one at work and apparently you can change your picks everday.
I prefer one that only let's you pick once a week, I reccomend to you the Sportsnet.ca one or the one at TSN.ca also looks like it might be a good one. |
You don't change picks every day... It's a completely different format..
Anyway, I went and pre-ordered today. It's out for everything BUT the PC right now.. which is lame. |

Well I've been playing it. MUCH better gameplay than last year and even 2004. Dynasty mode is a bit of a disappointment. I bought it and am having HORRIBLE trouble playing online. Like just plain awful. Connection times out very often. Things of that nature. I've gone into my router and opened all the ports they told me to, even demilitarized my computer by placing it in a zone of the same name. Nothing, just terrible issues and netcoding. A plain AWFUL job by EA here, but really what else is new on that front. Anyone experienced similar issues with a solution?

anyone having trouble trading, i can add and remove players on my team, but it wont let me choose the team i want to propose a trade to.
Anyways, just played one game so far, Leafs beat Detroit in an exhibition , Sundin scored his hat trick goal in ot! 5-4 , GO LEAFS GO

Relfections are nicer, and the ice looks wonderful when people skate hard, turn and whatnot, with the new cuts in the ice you can see. The gameplay this year is wonderful and its all so fluent and seamless. However, THE ONLINE PLAY EATS DICK. I played like 5 games in 5 hours. 15 minutes a game the rest trying to get into a game.

I agree with you Phluxed, gameplay is improved since last year. Didn't really get into 2005 but this one just feels great.

I'm about to lose my fkn mind. I tried to fix is with tons of diff. drivers, even omega drivers, and 3 different video cards, and 2 different sound cards. Every single time I get the same crash. I dont know what EA fked up this time but it must be some frigging bug in the game because I bought the game, no clone or anything. If they dont release a patch within a week I'm gonna hunt them down and stick each cd up their faggot asses.......

Sounds like a Anti-virus might be doing some bitching. Else what is your system specs?

amd 3000+, geforce 6800, 1gb ram, sb audigy. even shut everything down what ran in the background. AV, ZA, etc. The weird thing is, I dont even get an error message when it crashes, it just closes....

... i bound shot to "D" since im used to it and i cant shoot top left with this setup.. anyone knows how to fix this or how can i unbind those special moves keys so i can used them instead please ?
