This has no shooting at all afaik (which is the most important thing for my decision) the platforming is impossible to fail and the fighting is batman inspired so I'm going to play with the gamepad.
A month ago I had spotted some videos showcasing some lighting techniques they built into the engine I'll see if I can find them.
TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."
"Like Nothing On Earth"
For a moment there, I thought this was some next-gen version of Beyond Good and Evil. The main character standing in the shadow looks so similar to Jade...

Fuck Polish government for oppressing women!

1) Game is ridiculously pretty, was ported by QLOC (Ace Combat: Assault Horizon PC), and features high-res textures and shadows.
2) I wish I could turn all the motion blur off. Still searching the ini files for the blur on the character.
3) It has an 'HQ supersampling' feature to deal with the otherwise quite noticeable shader aliasing. I'm running that at ~4K and am pretty sure it's going to toast these two 670s by Monday.
4) Animation is lovely like Tomb Raider. Hair is lovely like Alice: Madness Returns.
5) This early access build might well be retail and has everything unlocked UE3-wise. Nothing is tamper-proofed at all.
6) More shots to come this w/e. Lots more if it keeps this up.
Cool thanks for a bit of info on the PC port...im pretty cool with those extra enhancements over the console versions.
Like i mentioned in my previous reply in a few pages back on page 8 or 9 ...im a sucker for inner-city futuristic sci-fi games like this. From what people are saying at that neogaf link and people that have the console version..are stating its a great looking game, great playing game with a great story on top of it..that's enough for me to go for it, i'll buy it since the price is right.

I wonder why marketing on this is so terrible and non existent.. also price is lower than usual.
It will be another game which will sell 500k because of terrible marketing and then we will not get sequel or other games like this, because of piracy

Well, it's $50, just like at least 50% of the AAA games released.
Btw, I do think this game is doomed to fail financially. But I don't really care and I will buy it anyway. I'm sure it will be a nice addition to my library.
Well as I said, it's a "B" game, so expect metacritic < 80 and low sales.
I will enjoy it anyway

No, it is priced properly for once.
Usually, a game is 50-60 USD and then 50-60 EUR as well, 1:1 "conversion". Which means this is cheaper. Maybe if you buy in USD, that's the same as always, but for us with Euros it's a pleasant change from the HURR HURR 1USD=1EUR.
Yes Capcom prices all their recent games like that I believe (50 vs 40).

Not really what is in discussion, but thanks for reminding us what we already know

Game is awesome btw! The fighting is a bit weird but the fighting soundtrack makes up for it. Atmosphere is a mix of I Robot, Blade Runner, Dark Angel and Deus Ex HR. Story is engaging so far.
The UI is really well done and looks totally slick. You can see that the devs really wanted to do somehing new.

Fighting music really reminds me of Luminies on the PSP, kind of smart clever.

I had a bad feeling about that aspect, another "plat-letmehandholdyou-forming" Tomb Raider-style . Hopefully it's not the core of the game, the combat and memory sequences can still be challenging/interesting.
her arms looks too long, it make her look like a gorilla
You're looking at the wrong body part.
