but have another issue: each time i enter the game have to reconfigure the gamepad buttons, it starts with keyboard as default every time, anyone else with this problem? i had it on the yarr version too
Are you using the 360 controller, or 360 emulated controller? When you go in, press START on the controller without touching the keyboard, that's what I do.
I have Genius USB Gamepad (crap, but that crap works 5 years and its still like new)
Use 360ce Xbox360 Controller Emulator. It will download the configuration for your gamepad and it will be detected like xbox 360 controller in the game.

eliminator on hard and with liveroutes is fucking insane
also how the heck does assa get 5-10 seconds less than me when all my races are clean
Not sure what you're trying to say but in case you're laughing at the "differences", you do realize that these are sequential shots, right? The areas highlighted are either out of frame or hidden by the car in the different shots. (or just not the same intensity in the case of the lens flare since it's a different angle.)

multiplayer is pretty much the same madness as it was in the first... well as pretty much every racing game...

isn't there a way to play MP without collision detection? because in racing games that's #1 reason why MP becomes retarded. without collision it's less realistic, but at least you get to play MP without ramming kiddies ruining all the fun.

haven't looked at all the options for custom online matches so I can't say for sure. At least the normal race lobbies are collision on.
It's still pretty fun you just need to remember to stay back a bit for the first couple of turns ^_^
