Gunpoint.READNFO-WaLMaRT

P.S. Everytime I see a WaLMaRT game, I chuckled a little at the name they've chosen for a release group. Laughing

Why are there even "scene" releases when there is a 49mb DRM- free version? They must be mighty fucking proud to have gotten that out to the masses Rolling Eyes

The DRM free version is nice. No installation and entirely self-contained in one folder. You can even delete the music in the music folder if space is a concern and it's only 19mb. I'm working nights for a couple of weeks so I threw it on a usb flash drive and took it to work. Runs right off the drive. Smile

Steam is full of shit. and I have no idea why a release would be so large. This is the file size not including the music and savegame folder. Music adds another 33MB. It's playable directly from the folder off a usb drive.

I haven't bothered with the release since I bought it but I thought about it some more. The 650mb is probably the bigger package with all the extra versions, dev commentaries, additional soundtracks, etc. Stuff that wouldn't really matter to me. Smile

That's correct:

Includes the game, the soundtrack, in-game developer commentary, Making Of Gunpoint video feature, exclusive tracks by Gunpoint's composers, and the Prototype Pack: 9 playable versions of the game from each stage of its development

It's a shame we have to do that, I was kind of hoping for a 2x/3x zoom option or something. Oh well, any solution is better than none Smile

This. It has a buncha extra stuff. a 305mb making of gunpoint. the rest is more commentary sountrack and prototype pack(earlier builds I reckon). edit: missed Inz's post, sorry for the double info

Setting mine to a lower then native messed up the visuals somewhat, as if I was using an invalid resolution. Tried 1600x900 and 1280x720 both didnt make thing bigger just messed things up =(. One gets used to the smallness quite fast though, but I do guess it could use a zoom feature.

Update 1.

Quote:

changelog:

Bug fixes:
- Fixed a bug preventing the game from rightly chastising you for excessively punching the same guard.
- No longer possible to upgrade your trousers so much that they break the concept of linear time (divide by zero error).
- Ryan Ike is now more talkative on Mission 5.
- Fixed a bug that rendered the game unable to cope with how cool you look walking backwards into a subway with your gun drawn, leading to a crash.
- Fixed an interesting bug that caused problems if you played on two different PCs that have the same desktop resolution but different install drives. Well, not that interesting.
